Well, the Mav's stated rallying cry is on admitting that (B) existed, so maybe the fans are a little delusional.

With your tree, C and D are not mutually exclusive. Liman cannot make North say what he wants to hear--O'Sullivan is not apologizing to Socrates--anymore than C and D have to be mutually exclusive. C and D are a Socratic flaw, and the whole line of logic unravels around it.

    (A) can exist with (C) and (D) on your tree, and on my tree, the Mavericks fans will experience their fatal flaw when they get pasted again for no interior defense, and live all summer talking about (B), just like last year.

Disclaimer: This is just for fun, just like Will had fun making the Tree. impressive by the way. You almost snared me you evil man, Will.

    Will,

I love this stuff, "pigeonholing" you know. ;)

The only thing I think you should have done is clarifying (A) a little better. The first time I read (A), I thought, "Nah, their performance level is not acceptable." Then, when I read through it, I found that (A) should be my choice, in the sense that the current performance level isn't so bad that it warrants going any further down the tree.

I certainly don't think that the performance is "acceptable" in the sense that I'm satisfied with it. I think that's the reason why HP could pull the Mavs spoof on you.

I believe Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley do not run this team intelligently. Sometimes, they do great and are just happy! Then they relax and everything goes wrong. They tend to forget the game plan and strategy and just try to score themselves. It doesn't work well...I think they are listening. But they just forget after a while. THEREFORE...

EITHER Steve Francis OR Cuttino Mobley should be traded. Steve Francis will never be traded. Yao Ming will never be traded. This leaves Cuttino Mobley. Great player, but we need some different players on our team. Currently, we need a consistent and B+ Power Forward (like Elton Brand) and a good, consistent shooter (Michael Finley). There are so many good power forwards, but most of them are not available. The only good power forward that is available is Elton Brand. ? There are many good shooters in the NBA. But none of them are on the Houston Rockets. We need good shooters like robots like Michael Finley or Wesley Person or Paul Pierce. :( But I'm sure Cuttino will never be traded. He and Steve are inseparable.

There performance has been better than last year. :) But we would be terrible without Yao. Well, maybe Jay Williams could have helped. Maybe Nene Hilarious could have contributed to our team, too.

    Rockets are going down
