Clutch, I was thinking the exact same thing. I really liked the way the game was called by the refs tonight, they simply let them play. Playoff intensity, and a playoff type win. Go Rockets... The refs let them play in the second half, but in the first half they were complete jackasses. The rockets had so many plays that they were fouled on but didn't get the call, which resulted in the Cat tech. After that Cat came down, and held the ball for a couple seconds while giving the ref a kenny thomas death stare ------------------

I don't remember them ever being this bad before...maybe they have become 'jazzified' and expect all calls to go their way. They were the worst this year, but not just on the calls. Early in the game, the color stated that 'the Rockets guards will think twice before attacking the lane'. When we were ahead in the 4th, it changed to 'thats what the Spurs were concerned about, the fast Rockets guards in the lane'(to paraphrase). Weak...

ha ha, damn, I'm glad I haven't heard this game, I watched it "play by play" on the espn.com though while I was at work (he he) but man those announcers piss me off even they say slightly stupid comments.. ------------------ against all odds

My sentiments exactly. I couldn't believe the tone that these guys had when talking about the Rockets. Everything the Spurs did was goldena dn everything the Rocks' did was pure luck aided by bad officiating. Thank God I don't have to watch them every night. ------------------
