Nah, he's a liar. There was more to it than he's saying. Don't trust a liar. ;)

Using DD's logic, I would have to say Andre3000 because BigBoi might put out a really bad album 3 years from now.

Is this the same logic that predicted Vince Young to be a superstar? Or that Yao Ming was going to be good (prior to his draft) or that Boki could be an NBA player?

If you are using DD logic, you are right more often than not, and usually ahead of the pack in reaching those conclusions.

    WOOT !

Not to mention reaching multiple conclusions, multiple times, on multiple dates!

JVG is a great defensive coach but he compromises to do it. He sends everyone back as soon a shot to is taken to stop fast breaks but it also limits our second chance opportunities. He also totally wears out our centers because he has them trapping at the three point line.

There needs to be a balance for a great team. I just think Rudy was more creative and had more balance on both sides of the ball.

Vince Young is a "superstar" in the NFL?

That is nice but has nothing to do with what you said - that JVG needed to devise a better defense.

Got to be fluid as the situations change, so do the conclusions. A coach that is right for the team in 2003 may not be right for the team in 2007.....

see Doug Collins vs Phil Jackson

See Don Chaney vs Rudy Tomjanovich

See Larry Brown .....well you get the idea.

JVG needs to build a better scheme for defending what the better teams are going to do to the Rockets IE get yao in a PnR situation with Rafer......

    Yes.

On his way to being the best player in the NFL within the next 3 years. (barring injury of course)

Yeah... that amazing 65.6 passer rating is really going to make him the best player in the NFL. Yep. More interceptions than touchdowns. All running quarterbacks must eventually become passing QB's otherwise they end up getting worn down by the pounding. It remains to be seen if Young can do this.

I think JVG needs to make Yao Ming faster with better lateral mobility and needs to transplant a new defensive brain into Rafer so that he doesn't run a 1/4 mile lap on the court while going under a pick.

While we are at it, we need him to develop a better system to make Hayes a better shotblocker. We need him to be able to consistently stuff Boozer, Nowitzki, Duncan, and Rasheed Wallace in the playoffs.

lol. I dunno... it's kind of comical... why not go for it? It's like a sitting duck quacking to be shot at. I've had my fun for the day. I'm sure the opportunity will arise again. :D

Dan Dakatoa, how many times do you have to tell us you don't like JVG (of course with the caveat that he is a good coach, just not a championship coach- whatever that means.)

    WE GET IT ALREADY!!

DD, if JVG is able to bring us another NBA championship, would you change your mind about him? If so, would you man up and have the balls to say so? If not, then please explain why. Just a hypothetical question.
