When CNN got sued for defamation of those white private school kids in Georgia, Georgia shouldn't be having laws protecting CNN. It's also probably unconstitutional. Fox New OAN and whatever could have had their day in court arguing for the 1st Amendment right to political coverage and that pushing a story about the ghost of Chavez changing votes isn't defamation. It wasn't a 100% case and they chose to settle. The intersection of standing and defamation law can be interesting I guess, but I'm restating that the tweet is simply a dumb hot take. The Depp Heard trial was more complicated from that standpoint, because the servers were in Virginia. These cases are legally sound from a standing perspective.
