Rudy Gay's about to show the world he's on Durant's level

If you really think the only possible explanation is that it's because Gay is reaching Durant's level, you're an even bigger idiot than anyone here thought.

But I'll humor you: It's been 10 games. It's this crazy phenomenon where things happen that you might not ordinarily expect in a small sampling of data. The Raptors also when 8-2 in a 10 game span from December 12 - January 2. Also, you're an idiot.

 

He took 23 shots and 11 free throws to get to 32 points. You had best believe if Kevin Durant takes 23 shots and 11 free throws he's going to have a helluva lot more than 32 points.

 

The Knicks? They aren't exactly defending well lately. Highlights of that game showed them playing almost no defense.

The one thing you'll notice is Rudy Gay actually got to the foul line last night. If he did that regularly, he'd be a star.

Maybe but the point of the thread is hes going to be on Durant's level, Durant doesn't operate on "solid" efficiency. He operates on insane efficiency.

Obviously Rudy Gay has more game winning shots than Durant because usually Durant isn't called to ask to hit the game winning shot. The Thunder most of the time have the game won before the last minute. This just means Gay is on a worse team.

Just in general I'm all about striving for efficiency in all things in life. I've worked in business credit for my entire career and it's the main thing I look at in my analysis besides generating cash. That being said there is something to be said for chemistry and timing

 

There are only 3 or 4 players even in the conversation that are on Durant's level. How is it so hard for Gay fans to accept that he isnt one of them?

 

I think we can safely say that Rudy Gay is finally on Cuttino Mobely's level.

one of the worst closing performances I have seen. They could have won this with him just staying on the bench. Lowry is out for blood after the game.
