    They do not need Gay to perform like a superstar, contrary to the opinion of tmac1. As long as Randolph and Gasol stay healthy, they are going to give teams nightmares in the playoffs. Good luck to whoever faces them.

    Perfect summation of why he's not a superstar. Nobody would say, "the Thunder don't need Durant to play like a superstar, as long as they have Westbrook and Ibaka."

    That surprise playoff run where the Grizzlies beat the Spurs was all with Rudy Gay out for the season from an early injury, correct?

    No team except for perhaps Denver is so good without their best player.

    honestly, gay is not that bad, he is just stuck in no mans land. he doesn't know how to be a leader. No way, he is on duran'ts level cause that level is his and lebrons.. gay can be put in the 2nd tier level tho w/ iggy
