Rudy Gay ain't going to be a secret much longer. If you don't have him in fantasy, better pick him up quick.

If the guy don't increase his scoring output to 25 points or more a game, i'd be really surprised.

Plus, all this talk about how the grizzlies are a lottery team now is ridiculous. Mike Coney and TA form one of the best defensive backcourt tandems in the league. Marc and whoever is still a strong low post team and Rudy is a star that doesn't hog the ball trying to get his while making the team suffer. Now that zbo's gone down though, all bet are off.

The grizzlies will make the playoffs easy.

    Good luck.

Fact: Memphis has never made the playoffs without Battier on the roster.

The grizzlies didn't make the playoffs easily last year, and that was with their best player healthy.

LOL, never thought of that. Very very true.

Not sure about Gay being on Durantula's level.... maybe a young Caron Butler, in his prime with the Wizards.

If by 'Kevin Durant' you mean 'Danny Granger', I only mildly disagree with you.

Rudy is a beast, he'll be unleashed. Anticipating big time stats now with Z-Bo out, Rudy will carry the team and go to the next level.

Just to add, if Rudy increases his scoring output to 25 a game, with the same shooting efficiency as last year, he'll almost be on the same level Durant was on as a 20-year-old sophomore.

He is. People don't think he is, but when rudy starts lightin' they team in fantasy, don't say I didn't tell you so.

Rudy can do everything durant can but unlike durant he was not the main focus of the team. People gonna find out. Or like the hero ball d.rose plays all the time.

I knew who started this thread without even looking. Last year you talked about the team playing better without Rudy Gay and all the shots he takes, and this year he's on KD's level? Come on, dude. Kevin Durant is an untouchable player. I can't think of anyone in the league that the Thunder would trade him for, except for maybe Lebron. Rudy Gay is a tier 2 star player, but I'll admit, he is better than anyone on the Rockets roster (too small of a sample size for me to include Lowry).

With their best player missing up to 8 weeks, I'd be wary before making this type of bold predictions. Want to make a tip-jar bet? I bet you $20 the Grizzlies will have a worse winning percentage without Randolph than the one they had post Gay injury. What do you say?

If he could do everything as well as Durant, he would be the main focus of the team.

Rudy Gay wouldnt be on Durant's level if they exchanged bodies and skill sets.... Durant is wayyy more mentally stronger than Rudy Gay....and has a much higher Basketball IQ...

Their best player was lost to the Super Friends during the FA frenzy. I think they'll have the #1 pick.
You don't recover that fast in this league with suffering a lose like that.

Rudy Gay is closer to Joe Johnson than Kevin Durant.

    So overrated...

Whenever I read what's threads, I reflect on the perfection of his moniker.

    What?
