I think he's fighting over it because of principle. It would be like you bought some tickets to a concert and then the band personally insulted you and your child. Wouldn't you ask for your money back?

he's probably is going to get traded. the reason i say that is because he was just quoted recently about some of the trade rumors and his answer to the question sounded a lot like what hollins said before he was fired: all about how he loves memphis and he wants to be here, etc. It sure sounds like the front office is shopping him around.
He's a goner, but unlike Rudy Gay, trading Z-Bo will be like an arrow to the heart of the Grizzlies even though he's lost a lot of tread off the tires. Once he's gone, there will be nothing scary about the Grizzlies at all. Mike and Marc are the core guys they will build around. I think this has been known since shortly after Hollinger took over.
So not only did Rudy make Toronto better by leaving...he also made Sacramento better by playing there. That's a feature no superstar can achieve.
Masai Ujiri outsmarted himself. He just didn't understand Gay's value as the captain of their tank. Now the tank has no leader and is derailing fast. It may soon fall off the edge should the Raptors get a playoff berth.
Solid update on the Gay trade by BBall Breakdown. Looks like he has changed his game a bit and Cousins + Thomas are benefiting. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/RCUHHWLA3JU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
