Rudy Gay Takes 4th Place in Most Missed Field Goals in a Game

You know, I was going to mention this in the game thread last night, but it became a little less timely to say it after Gay hit that three, but the Raptors had a lot of chances to win that game late in the 4th and in the first OT, except Gay was just playing so effing bad. I was shocked when his game-tying 3 went in, because he was clanking everything before that. Lowry and Johnson were the guys who kept them in it for as long as they were.

 

Wilt once missed 27 shots, but then again, he score 100 points while doing it.



He always said that the 100 point game was not his best, due to all of the misses.

 

much better than Stack's 7/34. Better than Gay's 11/37 too.

Although it would be more informative to see free throws on that list as well.
