Rudy Gay has absolutely no conscience about throwing up a shot. He's got to be top 10 on the black hole list, and he's just a natural born shooter. Too bad it doesn't go in that often. But seriously the dude never met a shot he didn't like. He's the equivalent of "there is no such thing as a dumb question", or "there is no such thing as a bad shot."

Seriously though, who else is going to shoot? That team has a weird amount of these "great athlete, no idea how to play bball" type guys. DeRozan feels like the better version of Gay to me, but I guess they gotta defer to the slightly less raw guy.
Rudy Gay took 40 shots...... well because somebody had to shoot.... the Raptors are not going to have a 24 second violation every trip down the court. What a terrible player though. He just lacks any discipline, common sense, lack basketball IQ and now ability to differentiate a good shot from a bad one. Imagine Terrance Jones crossed with Ricky Davis.
Gay and DeRozan used to play Rock/Paper/Scissors at half court on each possession to decide whom was going to take the shot, but the coach said it wasn't professional. So now if there is an even number on the clock Gay shoots it, an odd number DeRozan shoots it.
