What does Spurs beating Rox have anything to do with it? Rox were nothing last year, with the way Anderson choked up and the rest of the 3 pt shooters shot blanks if they were against any other Western team besides OKC they would have lost in the first round. Maybe if Spurs didn't get their asses handed to them by GSW you would have a point. Thats like saying WCF Rox beat Clippers so they were amazing amd are now contenders.

Well Anderson also choked, shot 28% (worse actually vs Spurs) and Nene got injured. If none of these things happen Rox were very much in the game against Spurs. Thats also actually what happened so I dunno why you think Spurs are pretty good for beating the Rox. Plus father time are against the Spurs Parker, Manu and Gasol will be worse now than last year. And LMA has been exposed as a diva who cares more about touches than winning. And Kawhi got limited minutes AND rests off AND still got injured. He is pretty good but he is fragile AF. I've hear of players who are healthy but become injury prone but never heard of injury prone players who become healthy, the trend is these old men and Kawhi will become more injury prone over time. At least Harden lead the league in minutes played when he got injured, Kawhi has been the most coddled and cared for superstar last year and he still got injured.
Anderson actually didn't choke vs the Spurs overall but yeah he's an easy scapegoat. That narrative is pretty stupid and he wasn't the reason the rockets lost. So No that's actually not what happened Also something ridiculous these people judging the Spurs based off mainly what happened against one of the greatest teams in the history of the league. Anderson is the single biggest weak link in the playoffs last year just about everyone abused him that's why he got relegated to the bench and when he did play he couldn't make a shot. This isn't the type of performance you expect from an 18M guy, at least not if you want to win a ring. It's not just that though what bugs me is his low amount of FGs, even when he shot lights out he only took 9 shots. This means the benefit you get from a hot Anderson is limited because he won't win you the game, and then if he is cold he hurts you because sucks on D and sucks on rebounding so its like all downside limited upside. Anderson is a specialized shooter, he should be taking 3s as soon as he gets the ball instead of acting like a decoy, maybe after he shot 0-5 if he kept shooting he would've made his next 3 shots, 3-8 still bad but not as bad as 0-5.

It's pretty simple. He played bad in 1 game in the Spurs series. Game 1 the Spurs got blown out. However he still got 40% from 3 that game. So it wasn't even that terrible. Game 3 was the only dud. Game 6 was well documented what happened. So yeah he wasn't the reason the rockets lost to the Spurs. You're looking at his fg% when in reality he primarily shoots 3's so of course it's going to be in that range. Which isn't even bad btw. So it's actually not pathetic. Would you like him a few mil less? Of course. But yeah again easy scapegoat but far from the reason we lost to the Spurs. Pretty you're surprised you're in that boat of the average person blaming that series Just on him. I would of thought you actually watched that entire series and understood all that happened but I've seen stranger things on this board I guess
