Haha damn, every once in a while at a high school game you'll see the home crowd start to mess with the opponents by giving them a fake countdown. Never seen that happen to an NBA player at home, though. I think that's just what they call a "brain fart".

He's won as many playoff games as the "winner" Shane Battier won in Memphis. Don't worry though, while Battier continues his decline, Gay will continue to play well. Lol.

this debate is stupid. AT THE TIME... The Rockets needed "that guy" that solidified the defense, was a leader and all those things Battier does. If Yao and T-mac would have had an injury free run we would be contenders and Battier would be great here. Gay would have been buried on the bench or just traded to another team for a player to take them over the top. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. GET OVER IT!!!
Battier wins the "winner" argument and you know it, we know it. Low wins is better than NO wins. Battier has played more years. Gay IS the better player now with years ahead of him. Just on single category "WINS", Battier is ahead. Even the apples to apples comparison of Memphis Battier to Memphis Gay, Battier advanced while Gay at this point still hasnt. Okay Battier "helped" advance, it was Gasol's teams. But then for Gay's team, "so we gonna ignore zach randolph's MONSTER season?" Will give Gay the nod as better. Jordan didnt win squat his first 6 years compared to Bird and Magic, but he was still a better player in the later 80's years.
