Gray didn't chuck them into a loss either. Seriously, if they had Gay benched the entire time or he didn't play they could have won. The guy doesn't even try to draw fouls on an off night, its like he doesn't have that suck-o-meter lighting up on nights like that telling him to help the team in other ways than just pulling up every damn time.

That was a truly spectacular display of ineptitude by both Gay and Casey. It must have been the 'ol "it'll even out" strategy after Gay missed like 10 in a row.

Ok... I never commented on his contract... I just noted that his risiculous defense deserves a lot of blame for what happened at the end. The Nash 3 and Kobe dunk are squarely on his high school level defense.

This game shows that $Ball coaching works, why did the Lakers win? Because all they did was drive to the hoop or shoot 3s in crunch time. Why did the Raps lose? Because they don't listen to analytics which consistently point out that the mid-range 2 is the WORST shot in basketball. You have essentially the same difficulty/risk as a 3 pt shot, yet your payoff is the same as a drive to the basket for 2. I know the Lakers are famous for not listening to analytics, but to be quite honest a lot of their philosophies are $ball moves anyway. Nash and Kobe have the mid-range 2 in their arsenal but when they want to win they shoot 3s or drive to the hoop. P.S. LOL @ Rudy Gay being paid 16M to chuck contested mid-range 2s. He can't even be bothered to try driving inside.
