Rudy is good at picking talent, but that's a GM's job. I don't give a damn to youth, inexperience, injuries, substitutions and "Rudy's better with veterans than youngsters." blah blah blah. Not that those factors are of no relevance, they are just too debatable. What shows that Rudy still has some gas in the tank and control over this team, IMO, is his abilitiy to implement the new offense. Since he's doing it I'll treat it as a gauge to his competency - as long as you got a plan and five players with mobility that's all you need to implement a motion offense. No relevance with common excuses. I don't care if the new offense is ugly or how effective it is, my point is it should be in place no matter what by the end of the season. If it's not there I think Rudy is either burnt out or lost control over this team, and he needs to start packing. Just my two cents.
