    Interesting observation...

What makes you think this? Do you think that he got pressure from
    upper management or the league?

where do posters who Love to Bash Ruddy fit into this thread???

Motion huh?? Sounds like the team has gone out and spent some of the grouse incomes on new brains, man imagine if they adjusted their offense based on what the defense does, could be impressive.

DavidS, that's just my conjecture. Les strikes me as an ends to a means guy...

I wonder if this was one of the things that Francis wanted to iron out before he signed his contract extension.... as opposed to my suggestion that he wanted to rename the team "Steve Francis and the Houston B-ball All Stars".

I'm curious to see what might be the most sucessful go-to play this year. Steve and Cuttino's isos will be one. I love their ability to draw the foul in crunch time although I think they go for the foul too hard sometimes instead of just trying to score. But a Yao iso with Nachbar, Steve, Cuttino, Mo, Eddie, Moochie, and Rice as outlets would be very enticing. We know that Yao can face up and hit jumpers over Ben Wallace and Antonio Davis. We also know that Moochie has a knack for hitting clutch shots, and maybe Nachbar will prove the same under pressure this year.

    Go-to play?

I say: the Pick-and-Roll, with Yao setting the BIG pick!

There's lots of options with that; passing angles, back doors
and drop off passes. It should be a favorite setup-play.
