I don't really get the vitriol directed at White, other than that it's just some lame joking around from a simpler time.

Yeah, I was exasperated with his Rockets tenure and piled on him, what ....8 years ago? But rather than spiral down a dark hole of mental illness, it seems like he got his life back on track and is now affecting positive change. This is a good story.

And, btw who are the "sheep" in your genius opinion? - the killing of George Floyd has pretty much drawn unanimous condemnation from Colin Kaepaernick to Rush Limbaugh and everybody in between - are you one of the 3% of nutjobs who think the MPD didn't go far enough?

 

As someone with anxiety and depression, not EVERY triggering scenario is gonna set you off every time. You can really struggle flying, but can crack a smile and have a good experience every so often. I don’t really know too much about Royce’s story, and I don’t think he has earned much sympathy and clearly had delusions of grandeur that put people off. But with the way the league has trended the last few years with better mental health understanding, it would be interesting to see what happens if Royce White gets drafted in 2020.
