if anyone is familiar with professional entertainment wrestling, I believe this term is called "a slow heel turn"

basically, he started as "a face" or "babyface"

everyone rooted for him, told him to do well, he can do it via twitter and all that stuff.

reading people's tweets back to him, I think they had enough, and are telling to stfu. he's being booed.
    expert analysis.

No, he still has a bunch of yes-men and enablers that are encouraging him to do what he's doing.

I truly wonder what Morey is plotting right now.

I really hope both parties work something out. I would not want to lose a player in Royce White. He is a talented player similar to a Lamar Odom. Right now, Royce really need to understand that the Rockets have 14 other players they have to work with also. Even though he has his anxiety issues, he shouldn't expect the team to always cater to him and do what he want in order for him to be happy.

NBA is a business of men, not a babysitter. Right now it is not his mental issue that is the problem, but more about his maturity issue. I believe lately he has been using his anxiety issue as an excuse in hoping to get what he want. But overall, I would hate to lose a player that was drafted in the mid 1st round.

The question is, is Royce able to get his head together and just show up ready to play. There are plenty of great NBA players that barely get to play in their first year. Also, for him to get PT, he have to prove it to the coaches that he can crack the rotation. But not attending the start of training camp, not showing up to practices and attend games isn't going to help.

Yea these fools think Royce is standing up for "them" ... Royce is all about himself,if anything he's hurting you.Don't think we're likely to see another player with these issues drafted in the 1st round for a long time.

No, since he doesnt care to practice or get better, he has the time to do it on his own.

This guy is an absolute embarrassment.

"Again My "Anxiety" is not well but not BAD, my main WORRY is being treated as a digit instead of a HUMAN, in the case of my health." Royce's tweet.

Sorry for posting too many tweets of his but damn! This guy just doesn't get it. Not only does the NBA treat him as a number, but everybody in the world gets treated as a number. And he's been treated as a number his entire life. Social Security number for starters. He just doesn't understand life. I knew this stuff when I was 17 and I'm 23 now but it's sad actually, he just doesn't get life.

    Black Canseco ‏@BlackCanseco
@Highway_30 is part of your goal to on play partial seasons/re-negotiate a contract that compensates accordingly?

And this is why social media and other technology like smart phones are ruining the world. People care only about themselves and other people are just like ghosts to them.

It's what being employed is all about. I get the impression Royce White has never worked a day in his life. No joke. This may quite literally be his first job.

No character-building summer jobs as a kid, no nothing. Just midwesterners with little in the way of basketball culture fawning over him and building him up from an early age. Looking the other way when he would lie and steal. Convincing him that being the best player in a drab snow covered gyms full of scrubs was meaningful, and that he was somehow above this. All of this. Even playing in the NBA, which is basically every kid's dream job.

I have zero respect for him, and wish him nothing but karmically relevant teaching moments from this point on, based on the way he's attempted to turn the best job in the world into some sort of bully pulpit or scapegoat for for a dubious mental health issue--an issue that is itself a scapegoat for his embarrassing lack of maturity and professionalism.
