Yup. White has tweeted himself outta an NBA career

 

Royce, not that you're reading this or care what a stranger like me says, but consider taking a reality check from what that guy said about his 8 year old struggling with cancer and the true inspiration she is. Be grateful for the opportunity you have. Go to bed. Wake up. Hit the reset button. And reach out to Les like a man and try to work through this thing. Most of all, consider staying off twitter for a while. We're all capable of letting our emotions get the best of us, but having a mic at all times cuts both ways.

 

I just tweeted him "@Highway_30 Step one: Stay away from social media. It's only making things worse. If you need to talk to someone, keep it private." 15 minutes ago.

 

Have been on twitter for years and didn't know there's an "All" option on people's feeds, embarassing.

 

Wow, this has really blown up...it's going to be making headlines tomorrow morning...

So basically Royce is saying the Rockets, players, and bullard are lying. I'm sorry, but that's too much to believe, especially when White has shown he can't handle this responsibly (training camp).

Bullard retweets that jordan acct regularly...it was a concidence more than likely.

 

Oh get off the soapbox dude. ****er's been rambling on for literally hours, twitter is like his diary or something.

 

I agree-he started this mess-the Rockets have been totally silent. He's lucky he got picked up by the Rockets-no one else was going to and it seems like they are trying to help him. I hope he gets the help he needs and stays off Twitter-who trashes their boss on Twitter??

 

You cannot simplify the problem. There's no cure. There is just poor management or good management of the condition (by both sides).

It is easy to act professional if you're a regular person with a regular job. It is not easy when it's an irregular person and an irregular job.

This type of situation starts bumpy. Always. It's clear both sides are inexperienced and uneducated on how to handle the issues on the table. Providing access to mental health proffesionals is nice, but that's not necessarily solve the problem even if he goes. I shudder to think what it does to a person with anxiety disorder and OCD to have to go to an employer-appointed mental health professional on a daily basis - especially when there's already a person who's familiar with the condition whom you trust.

How much time does a person have in a day? Enough to practice, see two doctors and take buses to games? It may be manageable, but it is not just about "act professional". He has to learn how to deal with these circumstances efficiently and how to apply professionalism to it. There is no template for his situation, and we can't judge it.

This is not to say he will succeed. He very well may fail if he neglects his own role in managing this thing. But the Rockets will also not succeed if they think that this is a problem which can be solved with the usual approach to managing players.

 

Royce, there's millions of rockets' fans in china who don't even know what an anxiety disorder is. All they know is that if they don't show up to work their family doesn't eat.

 

Thinks Royce White need some medication.

Am really worry he brings weapons to Toyota Center someday and hurt the innocents.

Nah, he really did delete that tweet and another one, refresh his page and they don't show up anymore.
