Until this guy gets on the court, whether here or in the D-League, I don't give two stinking ****s what he has to say about anything. He can take his tweets, light them on fire, and jam them up his rectum for all I care.

Man, you guys need to lighten up. There are tons of players in the NBA doing nothing an earning a fat paycheck, both now and throughout history. There are tons of 1st round picks in the NBA who are basically worthless, both currently and throughout history. There are tons of Rockets players through the years that Les Alexander paid millions to, and gave back little to nothing to the team.

In the end, Royce White like so many basketball talents before him are rare and valuable. So teams will risk paying for them. Sometimes things work out. Sometimes they don't. The Rockets are doing the smart thing by trying to make it work. But if there ever comes a moment when they feel like White is totally worthless, they'll dump him quickly and cleanly in a way befitting of Morey's reputation for being an a-hole towards his assets/players.

    Lets just say this-

If there was a blockbuster trade that was set to go down tomorrow, and the Rockets had to clear a roster spot today to make the deal work, its a no-brainer waive.

The only reason why the Rockets sort of dont care now is probably just the timing of the organization. They can afford to sacrifice a roster spot on him right now. That's really all it comes down to.

Rockets took a big gamble on a potential stud in the "role player" part of the draft and it didn't pay off. I still don't fault him for the move. With 3 mid-rd picks, you can take a swing for the fences instead of nabbing another JAP. Still have D-mo and TJ.

I just had a breakthrough with this loon.

    he was born in 1991.

he's an immature kid using twitter. everything he is doing and saying is about right for a 21 year old ranting on the Internet. he thinks he is more important than he really is, obviously. a more mature individual, regardless of mental health, would realize that behaving like a child won't get him what he wants.

    I can sleep easy now.

That's a pretty nice silver lining right there. Out of 2Pat, Morris, D-Mo, Smith, & Jones SOMEBODY is bound to explode on the scene in the next year or two.

There's a difference between players who are not as talented as projected and players who are lazy or for other reasons don't reach their talent level. The former kind is just a mistake by the team's talent evaluation. The latter kind is on the players. They in essence cheat the team's (and ultimately the fans') money.

Royce White is definitely the latter kind so far. And because of his not playing, we don't really know if he did have the talent to be a good NBA player even if he tried. There have been many players who appeared to be talented and did try to do well but never could become a good player.

I'm going to assume he doesn't respond to me.

The problem I have is that we haven't heard "Royce and the Rockets are working on this.." or "doing this.." or whatever. We haven't heard anything.

What could take so long for this guy to simply play ball. It's not like he's injured and needs to recovery or anything.

this guy is so obnoxious. he wants the rockets to be his babysitter, not his employer. the sooner he is out of here, the better

I think the rockets are making it more and more clear they and are willing to pay him and just wait on him, at least for this year. They're too high on him to give up already.

Looking back at it, more than likely the Rockets still take Lamb at 12 again, Jones goes at 16, Zeller goes 17, and maybe Fournier still goes to the Rockets at 18.

I like Zeller as a rotation big man, but I think that Jones has higher potential than Zeller, and is the right pick to go ahead of the other. If getting Zeller meant missing out on Jones, I would rather have had Jones. Oh, well Im sure alot of teams would do the draft differently if they had a chance to.
