Hey he can tweet all he wants as long as he's not receiving any salary. Then he'll have the right to say that money is less important.... #transparency, #priorities #reality

I would tell Royce to take a hike, but he's probably scared of that too.

    This.

Whether sane or crazy this is the reality. Royce is done with basketball for a living but he's not done using it to get paid. And Royce's only value to the Rockets is as contract filler or wait it out as an expiring. Still I don't think any team will touch Mr Tweet Against Your Team.

He'll serve out his contract ironically because of the money. And he will try and scam another team overseas to pay him to sit home and educate the followers about how he's a victim in a world of ignorance while following his deadend dreams between tweets.

But he's playing the Rockets plan and simple. And the more he tweets, the more Morey, Les and the whole Rockets organization look like fools for ever taking a shot on someone with serious mental issues.

What the hell does this guy even want??? All he does is complain, but never actually mentions what the Rockets can do to meet his needs. It's really frustrating.

It seems that way, and seeing as there was no press release from the Rockets front office or management in the media, he may get fined again, or worse, for disclosing private team information in a public forum.

I think that a trade is in the works that will send Royce to Minnesota. He will be close to his doctor, and also he misses his 'Twin Cities'.

I really he wish he'd just come out and say exactly what the Rockets did that bothered him. Is it just a matter of them insisting on him going to the D-League and he's refusing? I hope there's more to it than that. Why isn't the press that's covering the team going after these answers?

pretty sure it's reassigning him to dleague and not giving him playing time. Dude seems to be happy he's not reassigned to RGV anymore so he probably thinks his twitter campaign is working and now he's just waiting for playing time. Otherwise if it was anything else, I'm sure he would have tweeted it and not be so broad about his demands.

I hope when Royce signed his contract, it had a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Every tweet he makes about Rockets, he is tightening the noose around his neck.

    Royce 'The Hangman' White.

If that's all it is then this looks like blackmail, essentially. I hope the Rockets continue to fine him and publicly explain why they are doing so in that case. They shouldn't end up looking like the villains.

I agree at this point, BUT I think Morey fears a lawsuit.

Players are under no obligation to play in the D-League. If they do not want to go, they can simply turn down the request. It's not a big issue.

Marco Belinelli did not play in the D-League when the Hornets wanted him to.

Yeah, I wonder why the Rockets FO has not yet made an official statement. I can only think of a few possible reasons:

    1. It might damage White's trade value. (Assuming they are working out something to trade White as soon as they can.)
    2. It might disclose some information they are not supposed to.
    3. It might make the Rockets organization look bad. (But saying nothing makes them look bad too.)
    4. The might still think there's a chance to save White.
    5. They are working on the legal end to void White's contract.

Perhaps he did on Monday. Perhaps what he said on Monday is the same thing we have all already heard. Hard to say. My guess is that he doesnt feel he has been treated properly, and if this is the case, it may not be some specific thing but rather some attitude or some very generic feeling on his part that doesnt sit right with him.

In any case, he has had plenty of opportunity to be specific, and hasnt. And given that he isnt shy for words, my feeling is he has already been as specific as he knows how to be or wants to.

Players within their first two years can be assigned to the D-league without question. Belinelli could refuse to play there because he had already been in the league for several years. White has no such privilege. Rookies and sophomores must go if assigned.
