Honestly if the Rockets can get this situation under control it can be a PR dream, but right now it's looking like its going to be a PR nightmare.

Royce from someone who suffers from anxiety also, try and take a step back and realize you are causing more anxiety for yourself it's tough but anything worth having is worth fighting for hope you pull through.

If Royce white expects that HIS anxiety is going to be managed externally from him, then there is no hope for him.

Anxiety is dealt with and managed from within oneself.

I feel bad for Royce. I think obviously the cause of all this is that he didn't entirely realize what the NBA entails, and is not ready to accept a limited role. In his industry, he probably feels like he wasn't given a fair shake to earn a spot in the rotation.

That said, the reason I feel bad for him is because he's got like the perfect storm brewing right now. He's immature and has a small spotlight. We've seen countless people in that situation do stupid stupid things. Now, throw in the fact that he has severe anxiety, and it makes his immature choices seem irrational and stupid. Now, throw in the fact that he's a well-spoken kid, and he knows it. Because of this, he thinks he can be a champion of those with his disability. Now, we circle back to the small spotlight thing. He takes his soap box and starts doing immature stupid things on twitter because in his mind, he can set the record straight, get people on his side, all the while, bringing attention to those like him. He doesn't realize its a difficult thing for those not affected to understand. He seems even more irrational. ESPN picks up on it. In Royce 's mind, he'll have a bigger audience to preach to. He'll set the record straight for real. He's serious. He's ready to quit basketball (no he's not). That'll get people on his side. Behind the scenes, his anxiety only builds because of the the attention , but he's not noticing. He becomes even more distant.

The only way this gets better is if Royce some how hangs low for a while until he is forgotten. You gotta let hard work do your healing. Royce. And then, when you get healthy, you can bring all the attention towards this condition that you want. It's just a bad idea to fight an anxiety disorder with anxiety-inducing actions.

I apologize if I'm totally off base here.

The latest from Royce White's days of our lives script...

@Highway_30: “@othorp4: @Highway_30 get on the court ur selling out ur teammates” The scary part is, it says MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR in your bio. SMH!

    @Highway_30: #Progress...

@Highway_30: PLATFORM! The strongest platforms foundations aren't built on fame or fortune, they're built on HONESTY and GENUINENESS. < Can't be bought!

@Highway_30: I'm very optimistic the @HoustonRockets and I can work this out, it may be HARD, it make take TIme, but it can be done. #Hopeful

@Highway_30: #Mentalillness might be COMPLEX and tough to tackle in any arena, but we still have to try, if we don't, it ends up being MORE WORK later.

    From me...

@IzakDavid13: @Highway_30 According to NBA2K13 Rockets are handling your situation adequately..would D-League be good 4 your health? http://t.co/RX9kGoMu

@IzakDavid13: @Highway_30 would the D-League b good or bad 4 your health? I know it would help you work on your game & be a great benefit, but healthwise?

@IzakDavid13: @Highway_30 I support you & hope you get better, but a dose of reality

    My Anxiety #TumorTrooper http://t.co/HaRX8jgN

I hope all this can be worked out on Monday, and the whole episode put behind us. It is going to take a miracle, and some sign of humility from Royce White...will it happen?

    Who knows?

I really don't want the Rockets to take back Royce. He doesn't understand the concept of employment and he continues to bad mouth them in spite of everything they've done.

Could have picked Perry Jones III over this cry baby.

Look up on google "Royce white stealing", it goes beyond just his anxiety why he's just got a bad vibe about him in general.

He's too valuable to just cut ties. Couldn't his salary be used as filler in a trade? The other team could then waive him.

Royce White tweets so much, but says so little. He won't mention any specifics or details as to what he actually wants, which helps support the idea that he just wants playing time with the Rockets and doesn't want to get sent down to the D-League. If anybody has a reason to be upset for being sent to the RGV Vipers it's D-Mo, who's been a pro player for 5 years before arriving in Houston. He went down there with no problem. Either way, people advocating for the Rockets to cut Royce White, while I understand the sentiment, it's better for the Rockets to hold on to him. His contract is relatively inexpensive and each day he's awol, Houston can continue to fine him and recoup some of their investment.

I predict that something wild is going to happen at Monday's meeting. As in, I think Royce might act out and assault somebody.

    You heard it here first.

He suffers from Grandiosity and the anxiety is from realizing he may fail and his entire id would collapse.

He talks like if his mental illness, particularly his OCD, goes out of control fairly easily and so he has to be accomodated quite a bit in the way he is communicated with.

I really don't see how this will be sustainable. He sounds too sensitive.

The only thing i can think of is that the Rockets might want to consider having someone that travels all the time with the team and that he trusts to act as an intermediary. He needs someone he can talk to all the time to keep things from getting to the point where they blow up.

Sadly however I don't think he will be successful.

It should've been fairly obvious when the Rockets had the 16th pick and offered for Boston's two firsts and Boston declined because they didn't want White.

Three days of #Honesty and #Transparency and we still don't know what he expects from the rockets. What does he means by "support" and "understanding"?

    "return 2 WORK"?

Dude has never worked in his life.

At least not for the Rockets.

Understanding is low, Rockets are dumb, Rockets have no idea what they're doing or talking about, Rockets are at fault for everything, blah blah blah
