This is the key thing with White. For all the issues other guys have had in the league, those players did not skip training camp, skip practices, or skip games. Pegged to start or not, they showed up for work. If White just shows up for work, he gets his burn. In a small ball lineup, he is a perfect fit with Harden, given White's ability to handle the ball and get up the court.

This isn't about who did worse things to other people. This is about White waiting until his contract was signed to start having "protocol" issues. Even after the team bent over backwards to meet his bus demands, he found something new to complain about in the form of playing time.

love how he signs a 3 mill contract THEN decides to go on strike and refuse team directives. Bottom line he doesnt want to go to the Dleague and will refuse it no matter what the rockets or his team doctors say

could not agree with you more. why the hell are we hanging on to this headache? Even if he plays, he will always be a risk at doing something stupid or just quitting one day. Could you imagine this guy getting anything more than a 1 year contract if he's still in the league after his rookie deal?

Normally, I hate it when athletes read those canned statements, usually apologies, drafted by others. However, Royce really should have key his attorney write this one.

And now, for your listening pleasure: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qdEhs41L6xg

Stole a laptop and tried to sell it in college. Shoplifted from his work place. Showed no real remorse for it at all. Thief piece of trash.

You've had him pegged from day 1

And still the simple thing is

    1) Royce White declared HIMSELF EARLY for the draft, as "ready" for the NBA and in need of no further "development".... He didnt follow the very transparency on himself that he calls for, he lied to himself.

    2) Anxiety sufferers actually WANT to DO THINGS, they WANT to DO WORK. They WANT to be INSPIRED by others PERFORMING the actual tasks. They don't want a bunch of quotes and hashtags and #Protocol and airy talk, cuz after a while it wears thin.

Royce keeps trying to "itemize" things and attacking the mildest "inconsistency". He's trying to critique and amend institutional framework, the classic "backwards oppressing" force.

But what he's doing there is actually reminding anxiety sufferers of themselves in a NEGATIVE way of the big HEADACHE that it can be, splitting hairs over trivial things instead of doing any actual performing. He might actually be motivating some anxiety sufferers to doubling their meds and drinking.

Guess I should have left the song title: Dead in a Year, by Street Military. Guts support something local if it's not (potential) Rockets.

First, it is McHale's Pick not Morey. Also, a team shouldn't be rated solely on one or two acts but the final out come. The Rox weren't in any good position last year. The team was reaching its prime age in 1 or 2 years, but they didn't even get into the playoff. Therefore, the Rox had to take a more risky approach in order to turn thing around (Alternative of which was tanking). Asik, Lin and Harden were all back up players last season; that is , these are all risky projects indeed.
