Royce White gets himself suspended for playoffs

    Our guy Royce is at it again. Just a couple of weeks ago, he asked that his name be removed from the MVP ballot: "please remove my name from the ballot. I don’t need an award to validate my game or contribution. The league has transgressed so much this season, it honestly wouldn’t be an honor. Everybody knows who the MVP is."

    Now he's been suspended for 11 games by the National Basketball League of Canada, meaning he won't be around during the remainder of the playoffs. The league says the suspension stems from an “accumulation of technical fouls” and “conduct detrimental to the league for his actions in Game 5.”



    This was Royce's 5th suspension this year.

    Royce's response, delivered (of course) via Twitter: "'Screaming' is so sensationalized. Moral and ethical judgements from the culturally decadent only falls on deaf ears. There’s a lot you haven’t seen, you live in Newfoundland. Not many, if any, APEX predators like me... live on THE ROCK. #BeWell"

    Someone tell them White has narcissistic Disorder, they will understand. He throws tantrums.

    Does anyone here know how good the Canadian League is?

    20th in the world or 60th in the world? Trying to figure out the level of competition.

    It was the league's Deputy Commissioner, though. Imagine someone yelling at Adam Silver (or his deputy) during a game.

    Doesn't change my thoughts. Granted he shouldn't have done it but looks like he yelled the same thing 4 times and finally sat down. I was expecting some "in your face" screaming and hollering.

    Easily the biggest waste of talent. A guy with his potential and size coming into the NBA right before the positionless revolution could have done so much. Imagine a 6'8" point guard playing next to Harden.

    Some people are just odd, I really want to know what goes on in their heads. How this guy continues to play the victim and trying to sound smart, while he clearly shows detrimental behaviour and telling lies he does sound like he has a serious mental disorder aside from fear related one. He lives in his own world that’s for sure.

    Obviously some of the altercation occurred before what we see in the video, otherwise there'd have been no reason to start recording. Maybe we're only seeing the tail end of his rant.
