I say Battier, Johnson, or White...but most probably Battier.

As for the best player drafted from the 2nd round-Arenas, Morris, or Woods.

    Oh man, come on.

If Brand is fantastic for many years for the Clips and Curry and Chandler don't pan out or don't even nearly live up to the hype, you'll be pissed.

I hope the Nets grow strong and become a good team and stay together, and I wish RJeff the best. (of course, like the Bulls vs. Clippers, we only play NJ twice  ).

But I digress. I ain't worried. Eddie Griffin will have a spectacular career  , so go ahead, RJeff, become a star.

Honestly, I don't think any of the Bulls rookies have a snowball's chance in hell of winning ROY. Floyd isn't going to play them over his veterans, much to the chagrin of Jabba the Krause.

I'd also give the early nod to Battier, but the fact that he plays on the same frontline as Gasol--who could be another serious contender--might split the "Memphis" votes between them. I also like Richardson or possibly Rodney White. The All-Rookie team should look something like this:

    G Tinsley
    G Richardson
    F Battier
    F White
    F Gasol
    (F Griffin?)

The competition will be close. Battier,Gasol,Richardson,Kirilenko are more likely than Griffin, Curry/Chandler,White or Brown to win ROY.

gettinbranded--Let me restate. While I guess we agree that the Bulls' rookies won't win ROY, they also will probably not win All-Rookie team honors. Floyd is determined to play his veterans over the high school kids. And Hassell won't get the BIG minutes that will put him among the top 5-6 rookies. Okay, MAYBE a Bull might crack the Second Team. But no chance at the First Team.

Nothing against the BULLS. But I would be surprised to see Floyd giving heavy minutes to his vet players instead of to the rooks. I mean, what do they have to lose? I guess the BULLS management is not aiming to to do anything this season. Right? The BULLS are more like playing for the future.

    START THE ROOKS!

If I were a betting man I'd put BIG money down to say you were wrong. We'll see.

This guy looks legit. Just the way Tinsley is acting out there you would never think he was a rookie. Doesn't look confused, knows when to drive or shoot. AWESOME passer. If he keeps playing this way he's easily a lock for ROY. BUT of course, it was the Bulls.

This statement clearly shows how bias can rot your judgement. Or better said "A fool and his money are soon parted" The Bulls rooks would maybe win ROY if they had a year or 2 of college, but they won't be played enough and after this preseason and their first game, its clear they need a least a year or 2 to develop their skills to be consistently worthy of playing time. Right now kenny thomas in his rookie season is playing better than either of them have...would you have put "BIG MONEY" on KT?
