this is rediculous! we dont need to cheat so much for yao to win. it is pretty damn funny though.

i can see it now-"phoenix action 6 news reports that due to a recent poll and amares dissapointing showing, the suns have deciede to trade the highly touted rookie to the rockets for eddie griffin and moochie norris. obviously the fans were not happy w/ amare and jerry colangelo, at a press conference, apologized repeatedly for the obviously bad pick. the trade is viewed as a step in the right direction for the suns, who have a reliable up-and comming power forward and the point guard who will allow $tephon to move to the 2 like he has always wanted."

i just hope after all the s***-talking that they dont beat us to the playoffs-ouch!

You can bet that they already know. However, when you think about their advertisers, 30,000 page hits more than they normally get, probably makes them giddy.

I would imagine that Yao Ming will now be part of every poll with the added traffic he created.

    .

Who will win the Cy Young?

    Yao Ming (85%)
    Curt Schilling (7%)
    Randy Johnson (8%)

Who will win the Kentucy Derby

    Yao Ming (92%)
    Gold Rush Kid (5%)
Catch Me if You Can (3%)

Who will win Operation Iraqi Freedom

    Yao Ming (89%)
    Coalition Forces (8%)
    Iraq (3%)

HAHAHA, The Power of Clutch City.net....BELIEVE AGAIN

Haha, it's all in good fun....I'm sure if you guys were given the opportunity, it'd go the other way around. :)

    You can't argue with 12k + though.....CC.net = best unofficial basketball site. :)

Yeah, I wouldn't doubt we would do the same thing, but it's all fun and games until someone pokes thier eyes out. :)

Anyways, Yao Ming is my favorite non-Suns player, so it's hard not to laugh about it. I think it's the first time any poll on AZcentral had more than 20k votes, let alone 10k.

Ha! Then why does Amare have 2% of the votes?

Face it, this site has 12,000 BBS members and probably a couple thousand lurkers. A Rocket will win any poll that gets support from this board.

Have fun watching us in the playoffs! (even though we'll get our asses kicked.)

I only said we probably would do the same thing, but we all know we don't have the manpower for the type of stuff. There's no argument there. What's your point?

Hey I know we have a tougher schedule than the Rockets, but I think we have a strong chance to keep our spot. Seattle's not too far behind, but they have a schedule that's favorable for the Rox and Suns.

I think this situation absolutely requires that a really futile, stupid gesture be done on somebody's part! -- And we're just the guys to do it!!
And not just sports, either ...

Who will win the nomination of Democratic candidate for President of the United States?

    Yao Ming.........80%
    Michael Moore....10%
    Michael Douglas..5%
    Martin Sheen.....3%
    Bugs Bunny.......1%
    Mini Me..........1%

clutch city is using scripts to vote eh? That explains how Yao Ming made the All Star game. It all makes sense to me now.

I'm sure the other members at the PHXSUN forum are thinking the same thing I am. It's childish to "invade" forums. Plus, even if they did, they'd have to get through Clutch first...:)

I agree with you that its childish. But they want war...............and like it was mentioned earlier, they are kinda' like the Iraqi regime. With our "Shock and Awe" style comments and Clutch back home to protect us, we cold easily wipe them off the face of the internet. They want a piece of CC.NET..................they can't handle a piece of the "Clutch Coalition." :D
