    they did a similar ROY poll at cbs.sportsline.com a few weeks ago, but with more rookie selections. the way they set up the poll was a little amare bias. they had amare all the way on top of the vote lists and put yao all the way at the bottom. yao won by a landslide. they reset the poll and give amare like 300 votes head start and yao still beated out amare by a ridiculous huge margin. i think they gave up the ROY poll after that.:D

    The CBS poll was in alphabetical order.

    A is earlier in the alphabet then Y.

    thanks smarty-pants. i realize that in china and other pts. of asia the first is the family name, but A(mare) still comes before M(ing). anyway, here in the states its listed yao ming, so for all intensive american polling purposes they are probably going w/ y.

    I just voted. This is too funny. Doesn't Yao hater Randy Brickley write for AZrepublic. If yes, please rub it in his face!

    Come on guys, let's get back to work. Yao has slipped back down to 78%!:mad: :mad: :D

    If they scrap the poll or fail to post the final result, we should flood Brickley or the sports editor with "innocent" emails asking what the results were in the ARIZONA poll for ROY, because we're genuinely interested in this tightly contested race.:D

    Heh they probably will. If you want to screw up their poll do this:

    1. In IE, go to Tools->Internet Options->Privacy->Edit
    2. Add azcentral.com to the block list
    3. Remove the cookie if you've done the poll
    4. Go to the poll page and check Yao
    5. Once the result page comes up, hit F5 and click "Retry" repeatedly.
    6. No need to wait for the page to come back and keep on hitting F5 and Retry.

    Muahhahahahah.....
