This city is baseball and football biased. Doesnt matter if we havent done anything note worthy, we are one of the best teams in the league with 2 of the most talented players in the world.

Before this year, or the past 2, the astros hadnt even won a playoff series. WOW, gotta go to their games right.

So, since impatient fans are criticizing the owner for not making a move, Drayton can't do other things? Can he celebrate Christmas if no move has been made by then? Does he have to run these things by the fans?

I swear, this is such a fluff piece and for people to use it to criticize the owner is simply ridiculous.

because buying a bulldozer is typical christmas celebrating. I'm not having this argument, it will go no where, but we all know this typical p.r. drayton.

Making it to the NLCS was all P.R. That's all this organization is about.

I swear, I wonder why some of you even bother rooting for this team with the disdain you obviously have for the owner/management and over half the players.

I can just hear Drayton now. "Hey, Timmy. The intelligent callers on 610 are upset at me and calling me Uncle Drayton for not signing or trading for anyone. I have a brilliant idea. Let's give Roy Oswalt a bulldozer. Yeah, that'll take everyone's mind off this offseason. Let's set this up. Oh, by the way, next time someone inform me when the offseason ends on December 15th. I had no clue."
