So, apparently there is a Turkish Rockets fan site out there, and they recently did an interview with Hedo Turkoglu on a number of topics, including, not suprisingly, his former coach's current team.

A translation of this interview (done apparently, by the guy who conducted the interview originally) was posted on realgm. I highlighted the part that talks about the Rockets.

I many times talked about this interview in Orlando forum of realgm.And finally we finished the interview with Hedo.He is our proud in Nba and he is like a star player now.we talked him about Orlando , but we are the Turkish Rockets site and we didnt forget to talk about Rockets. I think it will exciting for you to.Besides Orlando fans , all you should look this interview and its very exclusive.My English is not very good but ı tried to translate it to English.

RoxTurk:Most of the basketball fans know you but anyway we want to learn more about you.When did you start to play basketball and how were your feelings in your first Nba game ?

Hedo: I started to play basketball by courtesy of my big brother.I played in Cavusoglu College for school and club teams.When ı was 15, ı started to play in Efes.I played in Efes until my 21. After that, i drafted from Sacramento and ı came to Nba.Alright, ı was very excited in my first game and ı was very happy why ı played.

RoxTurk: Before you drafted from Sacramento, especially was there any team , that you wanted to play ?

Hedo: There was no team that ı especially wanted to play.I was only wanting to draft from top picks.

RoxTurk:Who was your idol or who is your favorite player?And what about his skills that you were interested?

Hedo:My idol always was Tony Kukoc why he was a European guy.The reason that his skills were like my skills.

RoxTurk:What skills do you think you need to work on?

Hedo: I always focused on my shape.The season is too long in Nba so ı was trying to have a good summer and develop my shape .

RoxTurk: Life should be great in Orlando and ı think this beauty could affect you.What are you doing for fun in Orlando or are your teammates can being with you in your activities?

Hedo:Life is a beautiful in Orlando.Especially climate.In here , Im feeling luckier than the other cities.I usually have a rest in my free times.Im having many travels and ı couldnt meet my wife a lot , so ı do what she wants from me.There are many public garden where should see but because of my tired in the season , we cant go these places.

RoxTurk: When are you going to finish your basketball career and where ? Alright , if you want to finish in Orlando , do you think that your jersey can be retired from this organisation ?

Hedo: I'm thinking the finish my basketball career in Nba.I dont know that ı will finish my career in which team but if i finish my career in Orlando and ı can play more in this way , they might retire my jersey..

RoxTurk: Im going to ask you another exciting question from your fans.Everybody wait for a politic answer , but anyway ı will ask this one.We all know that Orlando history was home for many superstars.Alright, one of these stars was TracyMcGrady. If could you have a chance , you want to play with T-Mac in the same team and same time ? Or could it be more exciting than Dwight?

Hedo: I have never got a thought like this.Right now, we are in a good harmony with Dwight and we hope that it can countinue for more years in future.

RoxTurk: Ok. Lets talk about the Orlando Magic.Which place that Orlando can being at the end of the season ? In your opinion , how will be your team's chance in play-offs?

Hedo: If we can continue in this way , ı think we can finish in the third place.And no one can know about the play-offs but our aim is able to go better place than the last year.

RoxTurk: Do you think , team still needs any variation ? Or do you fell any bad things?

Hedo: Now, we are in a great situation.

RoxTurk: Dont forget we are from the only and exclusive Turkish Rockets Site . And lets talk about our team . How about the Rockets ? Are there any hope ?

Hedo: First of all , ım very happy to see Adelman as a headcoach again.I believe that Adelman and Rockets will have big achieves but they need more time.

RoxTurk: Have you got any close friends from our team?

Hedo: Yeah. Shane Battier and Yao Ming.

RoxTurk:We know you had been with Adelman in your Sacto years and ı think we should ask this question to you.What can you say about Adelman? And how does he should make choices in Rockets ?

Hedo: I think , Adelman is a great coach.He need players who can adjust his playing strategy.If he will play in Sacramento style , Houston should have got more player who can adjust his system.
RoxTurk: We talked about the Rockets and lets turn to you.What is the big difference in this year from last year? You are playing more affective in respect of past years. Could you talk about this ?

Hedo: I can say that this a experience where it came from the past years.I work very hard to develop myself in every year.

RoxTurk: Alright , we talked about your game. We all know , you found a solution for your stability trouble .Right now , you are like a leader of the team.All-Star..How about All-Star apparence ? Do you think , can you be an All-Star ?All of us give you vote and tell us about your All-Star chance ? What could you say ?

Hedo:You know , team's wins important to being in an All-Star roster.If we can continue to win and ı able to continue to play well , it can be a chance for me.

RoxTurk: When you finish your basketball career , what will you do ? Have you got plans to being a coach?

Hedo:I just didnt make a decision about this.But ı have got some plans.Maybe be a coach , or general manager.I have got many thoughts.

RoxTurk: Finally , what could you say to your young fans , from Turkey , America , or another countries ?

Hedo: I can only say that our young guys want to reach their goal , they should work very hard.

Easier said than done. Adelman likely wasn't very familiar with the majority of the team to begin with, so knowing exactly what we need is hard. THEN, you have to get the players.

Does Hedo want to come and play for Adelman and the Rockets? If so, I don't know why. Or is he wanting Adelman to replace another Van Gundy?

Wouldn't mind bringing Hedo to Houston. He just hit a game winner against Chicago a few minutes ago.

I think Hedo is correct...Except, rather than getting players to fit the coach's system, we should have gotten/kept a coach's system to fit our players.

after his breakout season so far... I don't see that happening
