I was still thinking of the perfect fast break he ran with Swift and Bowen!!! It was unbelievable to see the Rockets actually be as athletic as the other team for a few minutes.
A friend of mine that works at the airport just called me on the phone really excited. He said a 3 exces. from an NBA team just got off a flight and were heading to Toyota Center. he couldnt finish because his boss walked up, but said that he would call me back when he could.
No way this is a cost saving move as our injured players come back. JL3 and Davis make absolute chump change. And we've been carrying 15 players on the roster all year long, when we're only obligated to carry 14. It's either a FA signing or a trade where we take on more guys than we give up.
Im not sure, He was very excited himself. I will post as soon he calls me back. He has met so many players off flights, a few months ago he met Drexler, he was flying to Kansas City, in fact Tom told me he travels to Kansas City at least 2 times a month or more. But I dont suppose that matters. I hope they are from Sac-town!
as much as I anticipate somethign cool happening, which would be the only explanation I can think of for this move...I just wish we could leave the damn roster alone and let the injured come back. but oh well, i'll cheer whoever is wearing a Rockets uniform...unless it's Dirk or something, hahahaha. I won't ever cheer for him...ever.
I don't see a trade occuring at all. All this signals to me is that Barry and Anderson are close to returning to the rotation. If so thats good news because we need to get our depth back to make a playoff run. Go Rockets!!!
Hey, I never said they were here to make a trade with us. They could be here for anything, even to look at our arena or anything.
that would still leave an open roster spot. The only thing that I would think is that they would rather wait till 10 day contracts to re-sign Lucas, this way if he doesn't work out, we aren't on the hook for the whole season.
