Yo Tinman... everyone on this board knows that you hate Howard and want to trade him. I could start a thread on Yao Ming dating Halle Barry and I bet you would work in a "Trade Howard" post. The sad thing is that you never explain why you so vehemently despise Howard. Next time you type one of those "Trade Howard" posts, why don't you tell us why we should trade Howard and better yet... why you hate him so much.

I'm personally pleased we got Howard in the deal. He'll bring more talent to the PF position than we have had there in years. He avg'd 17 pts / 7 rebs / 2 assts last season and that is consistent with his career avgs. Who would you rather have playing PF for us? Do you wish we had Cato back? Maybe you want Eddie Griffin. How about Pete Chilcutt?

Eddie Griffin is a funny guy. I saw him in Undercover Brother.

what do you mean more talent? Maybe Juwan can sing and dance
but how dare you say his name next to:

    Kenny Thomas
    Charles Barkley
    Otis Thorpe
    Carl Herrera
    Robert Irobot Horry
    Matt Bullard

I will make a bet with you he doesn't avg 17pts/7boards/2 assts

Cassell is the best Guard in the NBA. PERIOD. No one can match his heart and skill.
Cassell won 2 championships for YOU! for YOU!
Charlie Ward won a Heisman Trophy for BOBBY BOWDEN.

Why would the Rockets want a QB? Maybe Les can use him for the Houston Arena Football Team

17 pts as a 3rd option on a JVG team? never happen. more like 12-14, but the 7 rebs and 2 asts i believe in.

    Harrisment,

If this guy didn't get hurt, Minnesota would be the Champs.
    Name me a better PG.

Bibby? we saw what happened head to head
Kidd? I would never trust this guy in the 4th quarter, hence ZERO PTS in game 7 against the Pistons
Parker? CHOKE CHOKE CHOKE - you say he's too young? Cassell won 2 titles and NEVER CHOKED
Francis? Too many turnovers. Can't hit game winning shots
    Iverson? Too Selfish
Marbury? Too Selfish and worse than Iverson

Show me someone with a better Assist to Turnover Ratio/ near 49% shooting average

    Player _Sam Cassell
    G 81
    GS 81
    MPG 35
    FG% 0.488

That is some funny stuff. Cassell the best guard in the NBA? Holy crap!

    Kidd
    Bibby
    Parker

That is just to name a few that are better than Alien. You really don't seem to care how foolish you make yourself out to be. The whole "retire Cuttino's number" thing was hilarious.

    Leroy,

    I laid out my argument.
Kidd -worse shooter FACT, in the critical game seven COULD NOT SCORE A BUCKET to help his team

Counterpoint: Cassell, played hurt in game 7 against the Kings
Still averaged 18pts and 5 asists per game

Bibby: Cassell dropped 40pts on him and beat his team and scored in the CLUTCH

Parker: Cassell is a better scorer and can post him up

Name me a PG who took his team to a conference finals and averaged at least 19 pts and 7 assists a game and was an ALL STAR? How about name me a PG who dropped 40pts TWICE in the playoffs last year?

Please don't hate me Leroy.. I got more proof than Everclear

    Detroit 90, New Jersey 69
Pistons Pulverize Nets, Advance to East Finals
    ----
New Jersey was held to 19 points or less in each quarter and made just 36 percent (24-of-67) of its shots from the floor. Jason Kidd was 0-for-8 and held scoreless in the postseason for the first time in his career.

"All the shots I took looked good, felt good, but didn't go in," Kidd said. "There are no excuses. Detroit was the better team. We showed up and we lost, no excuses."
    ----
    Minnesota 94, Sacramento 89
    Wolves’ Rally Stuns Kings
    ----
Cassell scored eight of his 19 points in the last three minutes, fueling a 16-1 run that closed the game and had the Target Center in a panic. Just minutes earlier, the sellout crowd had grown deathly quiet as Sacramento opened an 88-78 lead.

"It was looking like we were going down 2-0, but we knew what we had to do," Cassell said. "Down 10 with four (minutes) to go, no need to point fingers, no need crying over spilt milk."
    ----
    L.A. Lakers 88, San Antonio 76
    Lakers Send Spurs Packing
    ----
Point guard Tony Parker scored nine points on 4-of-18 shooting as he was shackled by Gary Payton. Malone and Payton signed with the Lakers last summer in hopes of winning a championship ring.
    ---
    Minnesota 83, Sacramento 80
Garnett Leads Timberwolves To Western Conference Finals
    ---
Sam Cassell, who had 23 points and seven assists, made two free throws at the 3:10 mark before the Kings stormed back, closing to 79-75 before Garnett stole a pass, drew a foul and made a free throw with 31 seconds left.

    You are too funy Leroy!

    TWO CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR PARKER?
He must have won the French Championship in 99

    1998-99: The Championship Season
San Antonio struggled in the first month of the lockout-shortened season. But once the Spurs hit their stride, nobody could block their path to the franchise's first NBA title.

    Snow,
In my dreams (before Tmac trade) I did dream that Steve would take use to conference finals and had 19pts/7assists .
Unfortunately that didn't come true !

    Ok.

    Cassell shot 48.8% with a 2.69 ast/to ratio.

    Steve Nash shot 47% with a 3.29 ast/to ratio

    Antonio Daniels shot 47% with a 4.89 ast/to ratio.

You also need to remember that there's two ends to the floor and Cassell is one of the worst defenders in the NBA.

Nash didn't lead his team to the conference finals. Neither did Antonio Daniels.
    Daniels is not an all-star.
