Which is exactly what these morons did last season, starting with Game 1 of the regular season until the Rockets took off and made all of Florida look completely stupid. Then it was pure silence.

Then it resumed when McGrady lost in the playoffs. And here they are again boasting now ... almost feels like another setup for a big ass crow stromboli.

As for Kerasotis, I think it's obvious he didn't like being made to feel stupid last season, which is what Houston did to him. He wants some revenge. But as to why HOUSTON fans blasted him, it was in large part because he blasted the city.

There's also this gem after the Rockets beat the Magic in Tracy's return in Orlando...

I think it's plainly obvious this guy hates Tracy McGrady. With a passion.

Thanks Clutch for the post, that's exactly what I have been trying to say, this guy has a personal obsession with T-Mac, and he likely won't stop evaluating and re-evaluating the trade until McGrady retires, and even then he's going to say, "See? He's a quitter, that's what quitters do".

Thanks for providing hard evidence against this writer, he really should move on, you don't see any Rockets fan or the Chronicle 'looking back' on the trade, and it's always the case that those who continue to bring it up over and over again are the jilted party, the jilted girlfrind that can't stop talking smack about her ex-boyfriend, largely because she needs to convince herself that she 'deserved better' and is 'better off' without him.

It's truly sad, I actually feel bad for the guy, he's embarassing himself, but may be he ran out of things to write about and may be they don't have any journalistic standards over there, or may be McGrady slept with his wife, one of the two.

Oh this guy is brilliant. You mean the division with the top 3 records in the western conference, and the 3 of the top 4 records in the entire NBA.

That quote shows that Peter Kerasotis has no clue what he is talking about.

The writer is obviously an idiot, but his writing did not make me angry. As to the four stages of TMac's medical condition, I am past 1) denial, and 2) anger. I am currently in 3) depression, so this article made me even more depressed, not angry. I guess some day I will come to stage 4) acceptance. :(

I love TMac, he is an incredible talent. Yes, he has his problems, personality-wise and physically. He is very young just like Francis, both are somewhat immature, egocentric, and very human. They both need help, they both need healing. I was never a Francis fan, but, I wish that for both of them. With the right supporting cast, something neither have had, both would go far in the playoffs.

That reminds me, have steve's migranes gone away?
Did that guy completely ignore what we traded to get T-Mac?

I bet, silently, he'd take a T-Mac for Francis deal in a heart beat.

Hmm, either he knows absolutely nothing about the NBA...
Or, he doesn't know what the word "dreg" means

Maybe he's trying to say that the Southwest Division is "undesirable" in that it has 3 of the 4 top teams in the NBA... :p

If you're "called out" by a complete BOOB, does it matter?

Or maybe he means WE are the NBAs dregs, not the division...

Let him have his time, we'll have ours.

What a total d*ck this guy is.

Using Tmac's pain and suffering to stroke his own ego and taunt rockets fans?

I agree that that's his point -on that score - hasn't Francis missed a significant amount of time due to injuries over the last season & a half as well?

You still are an idiot. Because you think now is enough time to accurately, in your words, evaluate this trade.

sometimes it takes more than a season and half for things to change. Role players don't grow on trees. You should know, considering the Magic brass did a terrible job surrounding McGrady.

The way this idiot used the word dregs, clearly describes that he thinks the SW division is one of the worst divisions, which currently has 3 teams over 20 wins right now.

Blow things out of proportion much?

Nothing like rehashing old statements to make yourself you good.

And when athletes say it's not about the money, I guess you believe them too huh?

Yeah, because the team you cover, the team you back up, has improved drastically since the T-Mac era. Right? No?

I think his point is more of you guys do not know what you are getting into with McGrady. And he's just not talking about injuries in the article. I dont' think its a "we won this trade" argument.

Personally, I'm not gonna knock a guy for being hurt.

Here's his phone number if you want to comment about his column:

    (321) 242-3694

Don't send any death threats. Just remind him that Orlando Magic lost Shaq and McGrady, two of the best players of their generation. "nuff said.

I think he must be bored of insulting the Magic, I mean, what fun is that, and just needed some reaction to his babble to feel like he's doing something.

Here's the bio posted next to this "story" which is comprised of "I told you so" and little else.

"Sports columnist Pete Kerasotis is a native of Merritt Island and a graduate of Merritt Island High and the University of Florida. His cutting-edge columns focus on nation, state and local issues."

You'd think he'd have more "important" to do, like focus on nation issues. lol.

I'd write him, and eloquently argue his points, like where he in one breath says they didn't get market value for him, then the next says "I told you so" and "the trade was worth it".... but that is just what he's after.

I have already given him more time than this is worth.

No joke! TMac didn't just burn the bridges behind him when he left Orlando - he nuked them. Well, you can't please all of the people ALL of the time...
