If you pick a 2 at 2nd pick then you need a two way Harden.

A pure SG is one of the most lacking building blocks.

And extra GM effort to get the pieces around it.

I wouldn't even consider Harden a 2. He's a primary playmaker, he sets other people up and controls the offense. He's basically a point guard. Back in the day when BJ Armstrong and Derek Fischer were the starting point guards and scoring like 8 points a game then sure you needed a pure scoring second guard. But now where even the primary playmaker controls the offense AND scores 20+ then what's the point. A pure scorer if just a luxury. Sometimes, it's even a liability when the skillsets are redundant like Dame and CJ.

    I was just saying.

You have to step out of boundaries of being an SG because every position nowadays can dribble and shoot now.

    PFs and Cs. Positionless.

Nailed it. There's definitely a type.

Reminds me of what people did to Jordan for showing up to his first all star weekend swagged out. Talked ****, called him too boastful, and the vets conspired to freeze him out of the game.

Shooting 40% from the field would be a good start.

Like I said, all our rookies will be better next year. The 1st season is just that, seasoning. You see the potential in all 4.

I love Jalen’s confidence but I hate that he’s acts a little bit immature in my opinion. I understand he’s young and it’s normal to be in a phase but you can see it’s going to take him a while to grow up. I’ve always thought that when you go to work you should flip a switch and just be a pro. Hopefully he understands and matures fast.

Not really. People have complained about cocky people that underdeliver since forever. That’s not a generational thing

It's kinda what all teams do.

I'm in Texas and my news feed gives me Kuminga fluff
    pieces every day.

I get far more stuff on Kuminga than Mobley/Scottie Barnes/Franz Wagner combined.

But every team promotes their guys. Builds up sales and the players feel like
the team has their backs. It's part of this, "Culture" talk.

Yes, and this can be a repeating phenomenon

I think he means that in every era, this whine about the younger generation is typically coming from that era’s older generation, since forever.

As much as I'm seeing how Jalen is playing, acting, etc......I have to keep reminding myself that the kid is 20.

This is going to be a long journey and the Rockets are all-in on this kid.

The first huge red flag for me was when Green was asked about his goals for his rookie season, and one of them was “max contract, we doin it big…”

first of all, he should learn the CBA. Secondly, cmon on bro.

Green seems to be on a good track. I don't give a crap about the dunk contest.

He looks like he is getting better, and his D is far better than I thought it would be.

So far he is looking very promising. I don't understand why people are complaining so much about him.
