I feel like this phrase applies better to our owner than to Jalen Green... But yeah, back to Green, I think he has said a lot of outrageous things, but I like the confidence (and I do hope he can back up his talk). And from everything else I've seen, Green has been a good teammate and a good kid. He doesn't have any off-court issues, he's good to the fans, he's liked by his teammates--I think we're reading too much into a lot of stuff. On the court, I have concerns. Long-term, I think he'll be great. Off the court, I am completely confident that he will do well.
he needs to work on his handles, core strength, shooting mechanics, defensive technique, etc all valid points to criticize but the incessant whining across this forum about his jewelry, painted nails, the way he speaks, the way he posts, the way he dresses, the way he spends his money is pathetic
I doubt it - as mentioned, Kobe raped someone, and Wilt probably has hundreds of kids out there he doesn't acknowledge if his philandering is to be believed. I don't buy for a second that Wilt had 20,000 lovers and managed to not father a single kid - doesn't add up...and we aren't even talking about Magic contracting HIV from flings outside his marriage. That right there is 3 "all time top 10" guys who have questionable ethical standards. Karl isn't that taboo in that company.
I would like to think that but didn't the NFL just have a farewell season honoring serial rapist Big Ben Rothlisberger? I just wonder how being cancelled applies to famous athletes -particularly those who "win" on the field. I mean speaking of ex Steelers, how many "chances" has Antonio Brown had as a sexual assault offender among other things.
