I was hassled at the Rockets @ Wizards game by these two ladies sitting next to us and the Wizards mascot too. I just laughed it off and it was even better cause Rockets won it.
She's one brave fakers fans. I hope he does'nt have the season tickets on that row cause that can be really ugly!
No, it was the Rocket on the mound. We lost with a man on second I believe in a low scoring game. It was a game where Biggio was ejected for arguing with the ump. He was called out for leaning into a pitch(in this case he didn't really do it), and went ballistic. He was thrown out.
I find it funny that, you of all people, teaching us deceny towards women. Never diss a lady, what a gentlemen you are. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=119242
LOL OK FINE I WILL. At least they don't have a bear spraying silly string into honest fans cheering on the home team (dancer?). BTW do you think T-Mac/Yao do ballet?
True, he did make this comment about a woman who he never meant, who wasn't at the game wearing an opponents journey, didn't flip Ill-Skillz off, or Clutch or do anything at all to Ill-Skillz. And this, about a woman who he never met who never did anything to provoke the insults. In all honesty you can say whatever you want, or be as disrespectful of a woman you have never met as you want. That is your own concern, and no skin off of my back, but it is just strange that after doing that you are defending this woman who provoked confrontation.
it was funny when they did the ticket upgrade thing and Clutch took the 2 Fakers fans out to the parking lot and locked the door. Lakers fand got owned last night at TC.
Wow, calm down. If you wear the jersey of the opposing team to a game and aren't subject to taunting, the home fans are not doing their job. If anything, I would do something like in anticipation of taunting from the opposing fans. Geez, when did NBA arenas become ****ty places to watch a basketball game? I sat behind the Rowdies at the Jazz game and thought it was awesome. Hopefully, next season there'll be a Rowdy section on both sides of the basket. haha, seriously?
Ill-Skillz i'm not saying that people should or should not do that. morally speaking i guess it is wrong. but what i'm mainly emphasising is that it should be expected. and that silly string business and all the other clutch antics, a person attending a rockets game should know to expect that kind of stuff. and if not, welcome to toyota center. that's all part of the rockets experience.
Are you ignorant enough to think that they were given free tickets with the intent to harrass paying customers?
In this case.... you went over the line. If you keep your banter about the game and not the other fans, then yeah ok, you're supporting the team. If what you guys did escalated in to a fight (and that kind of banter can), you can kiss the Red Rowdie thing goodbye next year.
The dude in the bear suit provoked the confrontation with the woman, he squirted silly string on her. The freeloaders just decided to make it their business.
Yeah....taunting toward the opposing team not the fan. Your job, lol, is to support the team not potentially start a brawl.
silly string is provoking a confrontation? ARe you serious? Silly string is nothing. That is the mascott's job. Clutch did his job. Everyone else there who got the silly string didn't have a problem with it. This woman immediately used profane gestures, and started being a snitch and whining to authorities. Silly string from a professional mascott is not provoking a confrontation. that is like saying the Harlem Globetrotters go around provoking conrontation at all of their shows by throwing a bucket of confetti at someone. The woman was a sore loser, and generally a seemingly miserable person, who couldn't take a joke, and eager to provoke and escalate any possible confrontation.
Holy crap some people need to lighten up. Earlier you were talking about fans needing to maintain some civility at games. I think when you berate a giant bear at a basketball game and involve security then you're the one who needs to maintain some civility. The woman's life was not in danger, she was extremely uptight for that kind of environment, and she's the one dropping the expletives. If you honestly want to start a fight because of that then some anger management is in order. Also, during breaks in the game there are always bits targeting opposing fans. The entire bit about leading the fans out of the stadium, showing a Laker fan and spray painting the jersey on the monitor, the Beat LA sign, the mascot messing with Laker fans throughout the game. It's all in the spirit of competition and is part of the atmosphere. So I suppose those Laker fans they showed on the big screen were justified in giving the entire Toyota Center the bird because they were getting booed? Geez, someone needs to stop reading Lord of the Flies.
I'm starting to think you are the woman who was using the profanity. If so go wash your mouth with soap. Freeloaders? I am a season ticket holder in that section and I along with other paying customers joined in the booing. She deserved it. I found her gesturing offensive and did not appreciate her giving the finger as she walked up the stairs. The Rowdies have never used profanity in their chants/taunting and she crossed the line. The Laker Fans (and there were quite a few that were unable to be mature enough to respond without using profanity) left a bad image of Laker Fans.
