Supporter Groups just don't work in the NBA... I'm sure if prices were cheaper we'd probably have a giant CF group, but they're not...and the fact that it's run by the franchise makes it kinda lame. That's just the truth. Not saying I wouldn't do it myself...hell if I had the time, I'd tryout for a season ticket. Rowdy fans just don't impress anyone like a supporter group should. Groups like the Houston Dynamo have are awesome, and all those European basketball/soccer clubs like Panathinaikos are amazing. So when you compare them to the Rowdies...I'm just left with a meh feeling.
rocketballin Ill-Skillz Thanks for your input. Duly noted. The Rowdies do what they do and will keep doing it as long as the Rockets want the Rowdies. Your complaints here serve little purpose but making you look like some bitter old men. If it really bothers you that much, write a letter to the Rockets and I'm SURE they'd love to take it up with you. I had multiple CF members seek me out last night and tell me personally to keep it up plus the usual "Go Rowdies" screams as people enter/leave their seats. So as the old saying goes, you can't please everybody. Lets just leave it at that. Out.
(i just picked some random quote to reply to) but... Did you find it creepy as I sat there and watch you change into your Rocketgirl outfit? Then you put your hair into pony tails to stick through the hood of your spacesuit outfit? So you don't drive from your home in the outfit, you dress out near Toyota Center? That family that was parked behind me were checking you out. Just glad you didn't hit my car when you backed up a bit. I still have 57 payments remaining.
I'm one of the OG rowdies. I remember when we first started with crazy brandon, maya, john, james and myself larry it was really fun but there are a few rules now that kind of limit us to what we can say or do. You know back in the day we said and did it all. We would get into arguments and hell even fights but it was all good. All you crticizers can tryout next year and will see if you can bring it for 60 plus games. I will admit this year could be better and its okay because i truly bleed red. I have 7 or 8 custumes that i usually wear. I'm the guy with the loud drum. We will be better just watch us .
lmao 1. people watch me change and unchange out of my spacesuit all of the time, so no, I dont find that creepy. the honks are not even creepy. Creepy, is you putting this on clutchfans. I dont read clutchfans all that often, and the day I happen to read it, I find this. lol. im surprised you didnt monitor my movement when I went into the toyota center. I went to the bathroom, got a sip of water, checked out the team store because I had time to kill, then went about on the usual rowdy routine. 2. thats not really a question. but yes after I put my spacesuit on, the drill is typically for me to put my hair into pigtails. you forgot to mention me putting on my jetpack, packing my fanny pack, and grabbing my signs, locking my doors, & putting on my goggles and gloves. You probably missed the part in the beginning where I sat and put my makeup on in my car. 3. that suit is hot enough, there is no way I would drive to and from the TC in it. my drive is about 1hr and 50 minutes each way btw. 4. Yes families, non families, creepy single men who park behind me(that's where I believe you fall under though i never got a look at you), couples, children, they all check me out, inside and outside the toyota center. I'm sure my spacesuit has something to do with it. 5. yeah glad i didnt hit your car either, thank goodness for my great depth perception! that would have messed up my perfectly wreck, fender bender, and ticket free record. But since your car wasnt near as nice as the one in front of me, I selected yours as the one I would rather take the risk of hitting by backing up. I'm sure you understand. lol. but wouldnt you have loved if I did hit your car, and you would move on past the aggressive shadowing phase to the actually meeting me phase? You would have probably even got my #! (for insurance purposes only of course) too funny and creepy all at the same time. glad I checked clutchfans today. lol. I guess I'll have to find a new parking location.... haha
First off Kam is misunderstood, it was conincdence that he parked behind you early before the game and u parked where Kam and I usually park for the game. Now how Kam described it, I can't have his back there. To make it even more conincdence, Kam and I usually wait for the crowds to leave after the game ends, while walking back to our cars, again, its not like we know your routines, we saw you walking to your car, we dared each other to say something, but as anybody who has met us, not really the type of people to introduce ourselves. So we just passed by without saying a word. If there is a next time, ill promise to say something to prove we're not weirdos, unless its too late for that.
haha. i usually dont go quite so early, that is where I always park (or rather now used to park), and I usually wait for the crowd to die down as well (rowdies usually wait until everyone has exited the floor and 113 and 114 before heading to the concourse).. (we're even later when we post game celebrate but havent had too many opportunities to do that lately ) I felt like I jetted out of the game last night, I usually never have to back up to pull out of a parallel spot. so had we both been in our "Normal routine without coincidences", it sounds like our paths would have crossed anyhow. lol. yeah next time introduce yourselves with "hey, we're the guys who think the rowdies are puppets and are run by the front office, and watch you change, then write about watching you change on clutchfans.net" lol. just poking fun at what both of yall wrote earlier on this thread. I had to look to see if either of you commented before on this thread to find out what both of your stances were on the rowdies.
When you went on to Toyota Center, I was still on my phone. Someone wanted me to come over later. But I didn't feel like driving down to 45 south, cause that means I have to drive back to northwest, and I hate doing that on Saturday nights cause of other idiot drivers. Because I was on the phone, I didn't pay attention to evvvvverything. I didn't see you put on make up. I knew someone was in there though. A long time ago, I used to park over by McKinney Lamar Dallas area, but due to construction, I moved to the current square to park. I usually park on Jefferson, Austin, Pease, Caroline Streets or streets near there. This is actually the first time I've seen you on my square. Maybe I get there too early, or too late. It was just random. Trust me, when I saw you, this was the thread that came to my mind. I would not like it if you hit my car. I still have quite a few payments to go. There are only a few home games, I won't be there Tuesday. or is that I dunno. I wanted to say something, but I let it slide. Maybe to the extent of something to the extent of Corporoate schmoes. Just a fun little jab at this thread. Everytime I see CL.T. I text the_yoyo, and ask if I need to punch him six or seven times in the face.
Ok.. so you 3 should definitely just exchange IMs and finish the convo there. However if there are pics exchanged (from 00rocketgirl's part) then I say it would be obligatory to post it here.
I don't get the hubbub, just some loud girl in a dorky red costume, I'd trade her for the knickschick... <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/QSxc7ECj-9k&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/QSxc7ECj-9k&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
some friends of mine went to the spurs game in san antonio and sat in front of the rowdies and said their chants were annoying and they just cussed the whole time
