I bashed Tracy for shooting way too many jumpers and the Warriors have blown a bunch of points this quarter with too many 3s. Very poor judgment, but I expect that from a team with very low bball IQ.
not since shaq have i seen a guy get away with lowering the shoulder this much. i noticed it in our series and it has carried over into this one. and it's blatant, too. he just lowers the shoulder straight through the guys chest and he never gets a charge called. he's impervious to charges apparently. and really, a large amount of the time they call the foul on the other guy. not only has he enjoyed huge mismatches in his favor, but he's getting all the calls. and like you said, if yao even pretends to lower the shoulder and okur flops, it's an offensive foul. but when defenders get legitimately knocked to the ground by boozer, for some reason it's never called. such a double standard.
I wouldn't argue the Warrior's shooting a few 3's, the ultimately get way more positions in a few minutes then the style Houston plays. For lack of a better explanation, they play quantity of shots over quality of shots. But they are still jacking it up way more then even GS should in this scenario. BTW, love the AK flop. It's like he was hit by a truck in a wind tunnel. Nice steal though. I guess it's midnight for Cinderella.
so depending on how much the suns and spurs knock out of each other it's slightly possible that utah wins the championship this season, err i mean the western conference finals. that's disgusting.
as I said, if we past the Jazz we could have easily beat the warrioirs IMO the bad side about that we would have to keep JVG for another year
Can you imagine a Spurs/Jazz western conference finals? Darth Vader vs. Satan ...and extremely boring....
There was a play in the 3rd quarter tonight where jackson was guarding boozer on the block and he clearly lowers the shoulder and jackson got a foul. Also, how is it that utah gets to be so physical on screens/drives? Deron williams and fisher ride guys on defense with no repercussions.
Not just this game, almost every single game, is poorly officiated. Not always one-sided, and lots of times both teams get equal amount of bad calls. But really, NBA just becomes more and more difficult to watch because of those refs, they just make up their minds to go out wistle whatever they like. Rules need to be changed, and Stern needs to go.
Now I'm really depressed. My only consolation was that even though the Rockets lost, the Jazz would be pounded by the Warriors. I really thought it was the Warriors' year. That should've been us .
