I can't believe that some of you have the Spurs in 7. I think if the Spurs win it'll likely be in 6. Winning game 7 in Phoenix is just not that likely. With that said I'm predicting Phoenix in 7.

    Spurs in 5.

They have owned the Suns, and the D'Antoni style, for years now.

    Amare going off?

    How's 40 per game sound.

That's what he did 2 seasons ago when the Spurs won THREE in Phoenix and took the series in 5.

This year Duncan's ankles aren't sore; Amare's points won't come so easily.

Bowen has ALWAYS taken Marion out; completely.

Parker just outplayed AI; and Nash has no chance at slowing him.

Every game should be close BUT the Spurs execution against the Phoenix "D" in crunch time will be THE difference; just like it always is when they meet.

This will prove to be the best series of the entire playoffs, IMO. So enjoy it. It's the Battle of the Titans. I am really, really looking forward to it.

    Spurs in 6.

Wow this series could go either way. Phoenix might have the slight edge with HCA. It just might be the difference in the game. This Suns team is a bit better than the last time they met the spurs. Chemistry wise and not roster wise. Barbosa is playing out of his mind and I think he may be the difference this time around. He's a lot steadier and more potent.

I'm hoping the spurs win though because I just want to see more Horry moments unless it's against us.

I'm going to take the Spurs in 6. Those 6 games are going to be close from start to finish and the spurs experiance will get them thru

I'm really hoping the Suns win as they are my 2nd favorite team behind the Rockets, but I have a bad feeling that the Spurs will win this series. I still remember 2 years ago on how Amare went off on the Spurs and the Spurs still won that series easily. Granted, the Suns have a better supporting cast now (especially with Barbosa) so maybe, just maybe they can win this time around.

Phx has no chance. You guys who pick Suns to win the series have no clue on what are you talking about. Obviously you didn't watch they play in regular season as well. Spurs dismantled Suns' offense last time they played.

If Dallas get knocked out by Golden State, then Spurs will be WCF champion because no one could threat them other than Mavs.

Phoenix is taking this series, in 6. Leandro Barbosa has lost his freakin' mind.

    Random observances:

Bowen can definitely stop Marion.

two yrs ago, there was no Barbosa like this one...and that is who Bowen will have to guard this year, so that frees up Marion.

Who is going to guard Duncan can be offset by who is going to guard Amare. Duncan does not take over enough, and his FTs are a factor in closing minutes.

D'Antoni's offense plays right into the hands of Ginobili. Look for Ginobili to have a big series and everyone calling him a GREAT player despite scoring just 4 points last game. lol

Raja Bell was signed specifically to guard guys like Ginobili. If Ginobili does not have a big series against a D'Antoni team, the Spurs will be in trouble for lack of scoring.

SA has a significantly better bench

SA has a significantly better defense

Pho has the best starting 5 and 6th man in the WC

Pho has the best player in this series

I hate the Spurs more than any other team

I'm rooting for the Suns

Suns in 6, even though I'd very much prefer to see the Spurs in the WCF final against us.

Agree about Spurs in 6. But what are you talking about best series of entire playoffs? That should be Rockets vs Spurs in WCF!

FWIW, as a Spurs fan, the Rocks scare me more than ANY other team; including Dallas. The Rockets have two players who, if on, the Spurs have no answer for.

Nash and Amare < Duncan , 3 titles, 3 Finals MVPs, and 2 MVPs beats 2 questionable MVPs and no titles.

finley is the x-factor; if he can go off at key points in the series then the suns are in trouble.

The Suns played too well this year. Amare has a midrange game now.
    Barbosa is the X factor.

    Suns in 6.

Then the Rockets beat the winner of this series in 6.
