i'm pretty sure the coaches weren't holding him back b/c he was just checking into the game. he was clearly going over to the fight. still won't get suspended and i don't like suspending guys for that anyway b/c there's no need to ruin a game b/c of some technicality, but this is like when people said baron davis was just clapping to himself when he wanted to show up the refs.

They 'hosed' themselves. They had a commanding lead and Nash and his teammates found a way to break through and fought back to win the game.

Great game either way. Now we have a tied series and it only means the series will drag on even longer, which is great for fans everywhere.

Drama on TNT! Who (if any) gets suspended next game? David Stern faints! The Spurs looked in control up until the last few minutes. What a difference a few minutes makes. Such a big swing from the Spurs looking to put a lock on the series, and now it looks like the Suns are back in the drivers seat. Time to strap on the pads for the next game.

I thought the B Diddy ejection was stupid and said as much. As a general rule, I feel 'hosed' as a fan when the league decides to suspend key players in the playoffs, it only means that they're interfering with the game.

I applaud the spurs cause they had a 10 pt lead besides all the crap calls
then the last 8 minutes or so . .they could not over come it

I know people here will defend it but what a classless cheap shot by Horry. All he had to do was grab him. Nash found his groove with a couple of slick passes and a major choke job by the Spurs. I can't believe this happened.

Pop blundered by leaving Duncan out too long and it cost them the game. Today was gut check time for the Suns and they passed with flying colors. I'm impressed even though the Spurs and Pop tossed them a life-raft. Wednesday is gut check time for the Spurs.

tigermission1, this is great for the Jazz.

so the refs should just favor whichever team needs to win to make it go on longer. what good is going on longer if the games are just fixed (like lakers/kings games 5 and 6 a few years ago)? i mean, even though the spurs did collapse, the suns clearly the suns got most of the calls all night and that kept the game close enough for a comeback.

Honestly, sometimes I wonder if you watch the same game the rest of us see. Your conspiratorial nonsense is tired.

Robert Horry is a brilliant stategist. Suns could potentially lose Stoudemire for game 5 thanks to his efforts.

Horry and Elie Suns killers for life!

Jesus Christ was Kerr trying his hardest to get Stoudemire and Diaw suspended or what? How many times did he need to point out that they were on the court of a second or two? Yet, never said anything like "let's see if we can tell if any San Antonio players left the bench too...maybe Tim Duncan needs to get suspended a game on a stupid technicality as well...".

I think there were a few bad calls in the game but that by no means was an excuse for the Spurs collapsing at the end like that, especially not when DESPITE all the bad calls you refer to they STILL had a ten point lead. I don't buy into this copout argument of yours that the Spurs lost because of the zebras; they lost because the Suns executed at the end (mostly Nash setting up his teammates for easy shots, but still it was a team effort) and the Spurs choked, and then Horry pulled the cheap shot at Nash.

It's not "fixed" and I think you're letting your anti-Suns bias color your opinion a little bit there...

he was just representing for clutch city. he didn't get to take the last shot so he had to get noticed somehow. and he might help get amare suspended for a game, so it might be clutch after all.

duncan wasn't doing much anyway, but i couldn't believe he held him out until 2:42 left. there's no point avoiding fouling out by just not playing the guy b/c you're basically just doing what fouling the guy out would do, putting him on the bench.

    I 'observe' his greatness.
however, i DO NOT WANT THE SPURS to have 4 championships. I'm ticked we have 1 less than that crap town of San Antonio.

I live in Austin. We have these stupid Spurs fans. No, you dont have to worry AntiSonic about Spurs fans, I do.

When I was in college the Spurs fans disrespected Dream.
    They said:
    1. Dream was traveling
    2. Robinson is better than Dream

I WILL NEVER FORGIVE STUPID SPURS FANS. DREAM FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

Kerr tries to be fair but let's be real. I don't dislike him strongly like some here but we all know where his loyalties lie and it showed.

I'm a Spurs fan but after Bowen's garbage and Horry's cheap shot, I wouldn't mind if the Suns take the series now. Tough and physical is one thing but dirty plays are another. And the flopping by that sissy Oberto is worse than Manu. They must teach that in Argentina.

francis 4 prez, your comment on Horry is funny.

i wasn't really saying it was fixed but i think you answered RR saying that the refs helped the suns by saying at least it extended the series, which sounded like extending the series was what really mattered, even though the refs had a big effect on this game extending the series (even if the spurs threw in a huge helping hand by sucking hard for the last 5 minutes).

and man, amare wasn't checking in according to that video. he came up from the bench area and went about 15 feet or so. by the letter of the law, he's gone for game 5. hopefully not b/c he never made it to the fight, but he's made it a pretty easy decision by the letter of the law.
