This series was a joke. It would have been over in five if Kobe didn't get hurt in Game 4. Last night the Jazz were only able to make things interesting because they hit something like 5-6 three's down the stretch.

The Lakers are so much better than this team. From top-to-bottom it's not even close. Boozer looks like garbage -- nothing close to the terrorist that victimized Yao last year. AK and Okur are jump shooters. Deron Williams is great in transition and will hit practically any shot he takes but much like the rest of this team they're garbage in the halfcourt, plus he's fat cry baby. ;)

Brewer, Millsap, Harpring and that Price kid are the only guys on that team I like. They all play hard and don't have ridiculous contracts.

Is that why LA constantly increases leads when Kobe sits on the bench, or why they can close out games with him not even scoring in the 4th quarter? Kobe is playing better than T-Mac, but the difference in winning is because his teammates make their open shots and ours don't. When his teammates weren't doing that he had the same success leading a team that T-Mac has had...none.

Just replace our starting PG with Derek Fisher in any year T-Mac has been in a Rockets uniform and we advance.

Tell him my friend. They mentioned yesterday that Kobe is shooting 26% in the playoffs in the 4th quarter.

Kobe was still hitting about 50% fg and >80% ft in the series overall. He took a ton of bad shots in one game, that made his 4th quarter fg% look bad. Still, the only number counts is
    4-2.

Imagine TMac shot 50% and 80%, yeah, I think Rox could have won that series too.

    False information.

The Laker's are -5.1 when Kobe sits. They are +10 when he is on. Even against the Utah series, the Bench has blown leads when Kobe/fisher/Odom all sit.

Secondly, Tmac had his chance last year. He shot 39% in the playoffs while being guarded by Derek fisher, AK. He simply failed on the road, coudn't close a game and they got bounced in 7 at home.

The guy hasn't made the 2nd round in his career. He has lost 2 series after going up 2-0 which he should've won. Don't blame the supporting cast, blame the guy who can't close series.

And? Really, there were only 3 games in which the game was going to be one in the 4th.

Kobe in game 4 was 3-7 in the 4th.
    Game 5, 1-6
    Game 6, 2-3

Including game 1/2 is a joke as the game was already won in the first 3 because Kobe destroyed the Jazz in those 3.

Tmac=joke. 39% in the playoffs last season against Derek fisher/AK/Harping and the Jazz. And you call him a superstar?
