So? It was like a 3game differential between the 1st and 8th seeds.. and the Lakers had their toughest schedule around that time..

Fisher mans up against him well. He's a physical body that matches up against Williams well given his bigger frame.

Also the Lakers are lengthy at almost every position so its harder to make a clear pass to open teammates with all that length clogging the paint.

Lastly its not like the Rockets didn't defend Williams well at some points in the playoffs. When Rafer was out there the Rockets played him well. He was held to 13 points and 6 assists in game 5.

I think the biggest thing about Rafer in that series was when he was on he attacked Williams, and any dominant offensive force hates being attacked on defense.

Rafer when he was on played Paul well because of this, and he played Williams well in the playoffs because of this too.

the jazzholes are complaining about too many fouls being called?!!... lmao :D
those fouls should have been called when we played them...
they say they're a physical team but cries about the discrepancies in the amount of calls.. give me a break!!

Glad to see the Jazz down 2-0. Now let us hope that Stern keeps things being officiated this way in Utah for games 3 & 4. 63 fouls against the Jazz in the first 2 games! No time to look it up but their average for the series against us would have resulted in 44 against Jazz, not 63. Whoohoo! Go Lakers - I hate you much less than I hate the Jazz.

With Gasol the Lakers are the Celtics of the West now, regardless how they got him.

Last year Yao working his way back from injury, Deke didn't play much, Chuck Hayes and Juwon Howard.

This year Deke, Scola, Landry, Hayes. Younger faster, better D. Add Yao to that with the 3 young guys around him and we are way better than the year before. RA's D schemes with Yao in with Scola/Landry assisting and Hayes at times probably does a much better job of disrupting DWill.

But - coulda shoulda woulda, see you next year.

It was a fun and emotional year.

I've said several times and I'll say it again. The Jazz WILL NOT get away with the same s*** that they were doing with us. A 43-16 edge at the line. This has Stern Button written all over it.

You are an idiot. At that time it was like an 8 game difference between the seeds. And the Lakers had their toughest schedule because they kept losing, what they hell does that mean, It means they sucked w/o Bynum and Pau. You are a dumbass.

Sloan should let D-Will loose. D-Will can play like CP or TP. Attack, attack, attack.

lol we can all see who's the idiot here with all the personal insults, if i rmber correctly, it was a tough stretch for the lakers with some good teams lined up when injuries occured, can't say the team really sucked without bynum or paul, though they are certainly not as good w/out any legit centers(turaif, brown... ), you could've never counted the lakers out when they have the MVP, kobe, on the team

Utah matches up horribly against the Lakers, Houston v. LA would have been a better series. Utah's defense is terrible, our offense was just worse. :(

D-Will needs to look for score early.

the way the lakers use kobe is the way we should use tmac.

kobe, it seems like, never runs the pick and roll nor does he handle the ball a lot around the 3pt line (he is out there only if he shoots 3s).

    we need another playmaker

ROFL WHOS WATCHING THIS GAME?!?! Hahah its fun to see the same old jazz that were playing us play them. Ive finally realized why they are so good at home. The announcer on ESPN was saying the lakers were blowing layups but the jazz were just grabbing arms and elbows, then they gain momentum and score
