My personal unbiased opinion gives this matchup to fadeaway 8 to 7. The big difference to most of y'all's votes is that I give Team JumpMan the Overall Offense vote. I just remember how ineffective Payton was on the Lakers with Malone and Shaq clogging up the paint. I also can't see how Miller and Mullin don't become spot up shooters in Team fadeaway's offensive scheme.
Thank you for your honesty and sportsmanship. Judges should give their opinion on the matchup and not having any grudge (yes, i'm looking at you Sigmund).. Payton did a great job defending jordan if i remember. You're strategy might work if we're still doing the previous judging criteria because everyone must explain how or why. Now this is like individual matchup game.
Yeah they are. Rednation vs fadeaway fallenphoenix vs horry33 lcahmed vs sc1211 jamers with a bye for rd 2
front court, Fadeaway back court, Jump man overall offence, Fadeaway...just inside offence, Fadeaway outside shooting, Fadeaway overall defence, Jumpman post defence, Jumpman perimeter defence, Jumpman bench, Fadeaway chemistry, Jumpman Jumpman: PG: Tracy McGrady SG: Michael Jordan SF: Scottie Pippen PF: Dennis Rodman C: Dwight Howard Fadeaway: PG: Gary Payton SG: Reggie Miller SF: Chris Mullin PF: Tim Duncan C: David Robinson So close... I had to go over it again & again, but* Fadeaway 8-7 It is so hard to see someone winning against a better version of the dominating Bulls championship team, but the inside pairing of Duncan & Robinson, with the outside shooting of Mullin, Miller and Payton could do it. Factor in Chris Paul coming off the Bench and you have your winner 4-3 in 7 games. McGrady at point guard doesn't work for me.
T-Mac, Jordan and Pippen have ran the offense constantly. The Heat just won a ring without always having a PG (their offense was MUCH better when no PG was on the floor). It's not like JumpMan doesn't have offense. His team would have killer chemistry However, Fadeaway did built a beautiful team so I hope it doesn't come off as me having anything against him.
Like I said right after I drafted him, having Michael Jordan is like having pocket aces: you NEVER win.
This is Houston, where big men rule. Great team mate, maybe if rebounding and intangibles were added to criteria you would've won. Better luck next time. Wilt is also one of those 'Pocket Aces'...smh
i would have voted and detailed this one but seems like theres already a winner and a new matchup... FWIW i would have voted jumpman even with no true PG starting...
