Oh, Chicago fans HATE Posey. And I don't blame them. The entire place would go absolutely wild if he were to break his leg in a game -- it would be like a dream come true.
Absolutely. Kobe ran Shaq out of town and wanted more attention for himself. I guess those rings weren't enough. Now he got what he wanted: the Lakers are 'Kobe's team'. He should've asked Kevin Garnett, AI, Paul Pierce, and Tmac (from a few years ago) what that's like before he wanted to further inflate his ego. Be careful what you wish for, Kobe.
Who cares if they are losing. They aren't entitled to win every year. I only feel sorry for Lamar Odom because he is Kobe's main scapegoat.
Me somewhat as well because I think he is laying it all out there and a good all around team player. I hope he can make it out of there.
He's playing injured but being blamed first. Lakers fans actually say he has to yell out for the ball. When did a team game isolate one guy to yell for the ball, or they won't pass it to him?
I am torn. If the Rockets don't get to the WCF, I hope it's the Suns. But I'd rather play the Spurs than the Suns. So the Spurs-Suns (assuming they both get pass the 1st round) will be an interesting series for me emotionally. I'd probably still root for the Suns.
Suns is damn impressive. Best team in the playoffs in term of performance. Kobe's teammates are total garbage. Can you name one thing that they can do well?
15-20 FG for the sun! 4-5 from 3 pointer!!! if it were for the all those FT , Sun would be up like 20+
wow when i first tuned in after we were getting blown out it was 31-14. somehow the lakers have made it respectable again now that i'm watching after the rockets game officially ended. i think on espn after the first quarter it had kobe at 4-6 and the rest of the lakers at 1-14. that won't get it done.
Lakers have to win this game to at least try and make this series look somewhat respectable. They need to give their fans something to hang on to. If you lose the first two games of a series, Game 3 becomes a "must win" situation.
wtf about 3 lakers have fallen down on defense in the last 3 minutes. mop the friggin' floor or learn to stand up.
Phil Jackson is just too emotionless for my taste. He was a lot more fiery in Chicago. May be it's just old age, it tamed him I guess. Seriously though, the Lakers can't keep the Suns hanging around all night. They need to try and up the lead a bit here. NOW is a good time for Kobe to take over the game. There are about 6 minutes left, so it would be good timing on his part.
kobe's starting to shoot a little too much in the 4th but he's played about as well as you could to this point and the lakers are still only up 4. i don't see them pulling this game out at the end.
i'm sure they'd love to but when the other team is way better than you are it's not that feasible. i think they again made the mistake of playing him the whole 4th, and i think whole 3rd. you can't make a guy score 40, create for everyone, and play defense without resting and then sill expect him to lead you down the stretch. at least not consistently. he's just inevitably going to tire.
parker might be the only guy in the league who has a worse floater than rafer. i'm surprised he even got rim on that one. and where is the foul for kobe?
