wow, can't believe the refs had the balls to make the right call and give the block to nash there since he obviously hadn't beaten him to the spot.

side note, williams and parker should learn to shoot. blown open shot after blown open shot. like watching the rockets tonight. also, one of them gave barbosa that tying 3 by jumping for the pass when they had no chance instead of just getting over to barbosa and challenging better or making him put it on the floor.

edit: lakers won't score, suns will hit a 3. probably nash just to piss me off. lakers lose.

on the one hand, kobe fouled barbosa there. on the other, that ball was going to get spiked into the floor either way b/c barbosa had no where to go. if the lakers lose now they need to just forfeit game 4.

mike d'antoni getting mad at someone for trying to dunk it at the end? like the suns never enjoy a good breakaway dunk to rub it in. lol.

on a broken play like that people tend to take the cheap dunk. only bell would commit the foul.

somehow the lakers little hex on the suns offense came back after a one game hiatus.

How did L.A's defense take them out of the game, Suns only scored 38 in 2nd half?

Very very very surprised the Lakers were able to close this game out. Job well done though I think the Suns will take 'em out on Sunday.

Nash and Marion played like big ole losers tonight. Nash had lots of totally careless TOs and needed to take a lot more shots. Marion just getting whipped by whoever he is matched up with. Weak effort and no killer instinct at all, just like the Rockets.

Too bad, would have loved to see the Lakers get swept on their home court.

Smush is a r****d. Why try and rile up the Suns for the next game? They don't need any more ammunition you idiot.

Good win by the Lakers. I credit mainly their defense with this win. When the Lakers decide to play D, they're a good team. When they don't, it doesn't matter what Kobe does they will never be better than a .500 team.

Kwame had the game of his life, Odom was solid all-around as usual...he's about as underrated a player as you will see in this league.

Fixed that for you. This is for the Rockets fans who think we should sign Smush in the offseason.

Smush is a lot better than the back-up PGs we got.

I hope we can do better, but if it was between not adding another PG or adding Smush for the vet min to LLE contract (say our draft pick or MLE went to a PF & SG), I'd take him.

Doesnt it just irk you when you watch Kobe. If Tmac played with half that fire and attacked the basket more like Kobe, oh we would be so much better

I agree, Kobe isn't that quick anymore yet he we saw him floor Marion tonight. It's about fire but it is also about Kobe's footwork.

Not really. If Kobe played half the team game that T-Mac does the Lakers would be 5th or 4th seed instead of 7th. they would have had a better record, and would have one at least one of the first two games in their series.

Actually at this point, I would rather T-mac take over as opposed to being a distributor. If the team game is not netting you any points, you have to take over, unfortunately, T-mac just faded to the background.

That is a fair criticism of T-Mac. There are instances where he should take over more. But on the whole, I will take his game and what it does for a team over Kobe's.
