see jon barry agrees with me about too many charges being called. it should be for things like when shaq bowled over wallace or someone flying in and running over someone, but too often it's a defender sliding over at the last second on a guy who has already committed and can't stop. granted, our own battier makes a living doing this, and as long as they call it this way i hope he keeps doing it, but i don't really like that it's called that way.
yeah but he kinda contradict himself. First he said, "I don't like that call" then "its the right call, but I don't like it."
I don't think they even need to try very hard to do that. Wade looks like he's laboring to try and run up and down the court. His agility is just not there, which is not good news for Miami. This is not even remotely the same Wade I am used to watching, the guy that no one can keep up with on either end of the court. Oh, I should also say the Bulls are a terrific defensive team. They're one of the few teams in the league that do play suffocating defense in stretches. The Spurs are the best at it, the Pistons/Rockets/Heat are also known to play lock-down D once in a while.
The commentators sound so boring.. I would think that with the crowd all revved up, the commentators would be too. "oh um.. wow..? nice block.. and dunk by.. uh.. thomas..."
Good plays by Tyrus Thomas, but I still feel the Bulls have let an opportunity to break the game open slip away with Shaq and Wade on the bench. The Heat are within striking distance.
Did u guys see how walker got free for that 3pter? Can't the jazz do that to us every time with the Deron and boozer pick and roll with Okur going to the top of the key?
Iono about that.. he makes some dumb mistakes sometimes. He might be a better shot blocker than Stromile though.
Take my word for it, the story on Tyrus Thomas is just beginning. If his work ethic doesn't strengthen and if he doesn't improve his basketball skills, he will be Stromile II. The only difference is Thomas has an attitude. At first, I had him tagged as a bust. Right now, I'm 50/50. This summer, I would trade him as part of a package for an inside scorer if I were the Bulls while his trade value is high.
hey they haven't called a 3 second on shaq yet this game right? He's certainly setting up camp in there.
the bulls aren't missing enough wide open 3's. 2 for 16 right now and the last 5 or 6 have been as open as can be. wade and shaq are about to come back in and instead of the lead increasing, they've actually let it drop from 10 to 6. they're about to blow this game and the series if they don't get going.
I have a gut feeling the Bulls are going to blow this game. It's been handed to them on a silver platter and the lead is only 6 points.
