Guys, if you didn't notice, Nash quite blatantly shoved Walton out of the way when the Suns inbounded the ball. So, if the jump ball was a bad call... it makes up for the equally bad one that went in favor of the Suns a few seconds earlier.

not to take too much away from kobe....he is not human, BUT:

nash was fouled, he was calling time out, and i think odom was out of bounds while touching the ball. not to mention walton held jones on the final play of regulation.

we all know the nba and stern is corrupt though and he'll do everything in his power to get the lakers the win, so it's no surprise.

kobe still had to sink those 2 shots though. a great game either way.

yes you deserve to go to hell!

PJ has a great game plan. we should have gotten him instead of that JVG guy.

    The Suns were robbed.

Nash was fouled on the final positions of regulation and OT. It should have been FT's for the best FT shooter in the league instead of a turnover and a jump ball.

if the Lakers make it to the next round, Sam and Cuttino will destroy the Lakers. It would be Rockets vs Lakers again. Except the Rockets are wearing Clippers Uniforms.

This really made up for my weekend. No Reggie Bush, but I saw a fanstastic game and Kobe won it.

I saw that... and they could have called Walton for holding Nash to begin with (which led to Nash attempting to get free, with an over-reaction by Walton and his "fall-back").

Even then, its one of the worst makeup calls of all time (in the whole business of the NBA's crazy "make up call" culture) if the ref knowingly did not give Nash a timeout or foul based on that baseline play.

But once again... its the Suns own fault for allowing the game to go to OT... terrible coaching by D'antoni, who really can't match wits with the most average of NBA coaches in terms of end-of-game situations.

Boo Hoo Hoo. Its the playoffs. Anyways whats an MVP ball handler doing dribbling right into a trap, that was totally Nash's fault.

I don't even mind seeing Steve Nash taken down a peg, as he is surely the most overrated player in the NBA today. But he definitely got mugged on that last play.

Shades of Dream and the Admiral in the latter's MVP year though, no?

More than anything else, this was a choke job by the Suns. My son said to me with 12.5 seconds left in regulation (score 90-85), the Lakers were going to tie it up. Of course, I blew him off and the Suns proved me wrong. In OT, the Suns again pull a major choke job.

Over the last 20-30 years, Phoenix basketball fans have some of the most heartbreaking stories in the NBA. Today's game was the latest chapter. After watching this game, I've given up on them. Truly they twice snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. And Kobe gets another Kodak moment.

Neither of these teams has a chance at making the NBA Finals, but what an entertaining series.

dribbling into a trap, picking up his dribble, getting fouled, and calling a timeout. let's get it straight.

Wow that game was stunning, I kept thinking in my mind from the final minute of regulation to the final minute of OT that Suns were eventually gonna win and Lakers fans would be disappointed. However, I was shocked that the Suns performed so poorly in the clutch. I do feel that Nash got screwed on both the end of regulation and end of OT calls, but still what Kobe did was amazing and its justified that they won. One of the best games I have seen in a while.

Steve WHO  ? KOBE BRYANT FOR MVP~!
Suns deserve the heartbreaker after Steve "MVP" Nash missed 5 wide open Js and commited 2 turnovers at the end of 4th and OT

    CHOKED~!

I've gotten in fights defending Kobe for years... Hell, even my mom laughed at me for naming my dog after him 6 years ago...but he is the only person that can come close to the GOAT(MJ).

Am I the only that thinks that Tracy McGrady is at home right now getting mentality prepared for the next season...

You think his pride isn't hurt when he is no longer mentioned with Kobe, LeBron, D-Wade...etc?

All I can say is that when Kobe and Tracy meet in the playoffs in the next 5 years It will be one of the best series EVER.

In a weird way watching Kobe do well is what the Doctor ordered for Tracy. Think about that... What do yall think?

The Suns fans are saying that Stern wanted the Lakers to win and the Suns were mentally drained from bad officiating! HAHA! Yeah, whatever! Hopefully Yao and T-Mac get fully healthy and we make the moves that need to be made. That should be the Rockets. We had our chance last year and threw it away. Lets get healthy next year and win the whole thing!
