So true. A lot of people last year said he was more valuable to the Suns than Joe Johnson was. Yeah right! Unlike Marion, JJ is clutch, can create his own shot and is fearless. Marion is a great "garbage" player who plays like garbage in the playoffs.

For the umpteenth time though, I still feel like the Suns can rip off 3 in a row and close the Lakers out.

Post #1 under the new moniker.

come on, give Kobe some credits. The guy was 19-8 when getting 40pts this season.

I was referring to the head-to-head season matchup with the Suns, not generally speaking.

Big game today, if lakers can win at home, will be up 3-1. Huge game.

since when do the refs hate kobe? his second foul was a pretty weak call on bell driving and his 3rd he barely even went into the guy and it was more of a flop than anything. especially for it to be a 3rd foul 30 seconds into the 2nd quarter. yet bell pretty much wrestles kobe every time he tries to post up and only has one foul.

and nice job by george to leave nash wide open for 3 to double someone in the post. as if anyone posting up is worse than nash for an open 3.

could smush parker be playing defense any worse? nash gets inside any time he wants against the guy. vujacic at least makes him work.

and kobe is playing terrible. that's why i don't like this oversharing. he never has any rhythm by the time the 4th rolls around. he gets frustrated and gets stupid offensive fouls like that or thinks "pass" so much that he starts throwing it away when scoring opportunities are there. i mean he gets it 17 feet from the basket and won't even turn and shoot an easy jumper any more. suns have this one wrapped up.

parker is determined to let nash make an open 3. he just won't give up.

edit: parker just has a standing invitation to the basket for anyone he's guarding. even against freakin' diaw he gives up a spin move and easy layup to a guy he should be much faster than. at least make him overpower you. usually smush plays nice D, but he just sucks.

and the lakers finally have done what they are never supposed to do - give the suns 3's off penetration. stupid ****s, you're up 1 so you give up a 3 to bell to make it a 2 possession game. then you get the 3 back and immediately give tim thomas an open 3 to go up by 4 against with only 40.8 left. how about make them earn a ****ing 2. that can't be that hard. nash is off right now, but hey just keep collapsing and helping on him and blowing the game. tim thomas has more than made up for any sucking marion has done this series.

stupid lakers. it's just the same as the kings giving barry that 3. i wish i could bet on this type of stuff. a team up 3 or up 1 will automatically give the other team a 3. it doesn't matter how, they will. it's like it's programmed into every athlete to never give up a 2 if the 3 will hurt you worse. hell if nash makes a friggin' layup you're still only down one possession. instead you're down 4 and then have kobe and odom try to force up a 3 which they of course miss. down 3 you could still go for the two and foul. but hey, what do i know.

parker hits the 3 to try and avoid having the most worthless playoff game in history. 1 for 10 with horrendous defense up until that point. he's probably been worth 10 points to phoenix tonight.

The league MVP did his job of handing the game to LAL. And Kobe was fouled on the last play that sent the game to OT.
