Kobe just yammed over Nash. Possibly could have been a charge, but it was a beautiful dunk. Kobe got the call this time.

LOL! I think JVG has taken care of that one for us, Lord knows he's repeated it a few thousand times on his before-last telecast. :)

Odom has been terrific! What a hustle and a pass!

Marion disappears and Odom is showing up in the playoffs...who was it again that was saying Odom was worse than Marion? Well, there you go!

I hope the Lakers win here and make the series more interesting...

Damn! Getting too close for comfort...

    Good rebound!

EDIT: Thank God for Shawn Marion!

Entertaining game, now it's a series!

The Lakers should be very proud of this performance, they did it as a "team" and everyone played their roles...props to Kobe as well for not going too much out of his way and ruining his team's rhythem in the process, he balanced his role as a scorer/playmaker very nicely.

I am NOT a Laker fan, at all, but this has been a very impressive game for them.

    dunks win dunk contests...not mvp's.

this win is impressive for kobe and the lakers...but if that is a major weight on who the mvp is (which it is)- then kobe loses again.

kobe is not the mvp. sure, he might be the most marketable player...but not the most valuable.

is smush parker brain dead? you're up 9 with 3:11 to go and you wanna keep the clock moving so 85 feet from the basket he just decides to run into the guy holding the ball off the rebound and give him 2 free throws. on the scale of stupid fouls, that's towards the galactically stupid end of the spectrum.

and kobe didn't even think of passing to smush on that last possession.

still think phoenix pulls it out. just too much offensive firepower to hold down all game. 2:41 is 8 or 9 more possessions for them at least.

edit: so uhh, what just happened the last 2 minutes b/c time warner decided to knock out the cable for 5 minutes.

Kobe was the best player this season, but not the MVP...Nash was more impressive in the season.

Even if you feel Kobe was "stiffed", it's ok, greater players have been stiffed before him as well.

It was me who was always bragging on Marion. Man, he is really stinking it up tonight!! That jam by Kobe was sweet they just showed the replay again. Odom is the man tonight, what a game. Did you notice the 2 threes he just missed were in and out? That hustle play by Odom to get Kobe the dunk sumed up his performance.

    Series tied 1-1.

lol this is getting pathetic. Do you guys have nothing to brag about as to start brag a dunk over a point guard. LOL. (btw it very well could be a charge)

Showing who the MVP is lol. So kevin Johnson dunked on Dream, let hand him the MVP !

Possibly should have been a charge, nash was outside of the circle, but not sure if he was set. Could have gone either way. Kobe didn't get the call in game 1, but he did this time.

The dunk has nothing to do with the MVP, but the win and the all around team effort played by Kobe is a statement.
