The best coach ever closes teams out when he's up 3-1.

Kobe is clearly frustrated and is trying to get his anger out on Raja while he still can (before the game is over, that is). He twice in a row bulldozed him out of the way for the offensive foul.

Someone is pissed off, and it ain't Raja...

EDIT: Apparently Kobe just a shot at Marion's forehead, probably 'inadvertent' though...

I agree. I have been for the Clippers since the playoffs started. The one sad thing if the Lakers lose is that only Dallas will be left to really focus on despising.

I started out barely liking the Suns only a fraction more than the Lakers. But they have earned my respect... even Nash, whom I used to really dislike. I still hate Raja Bell, because he's a big baby, who doesn't seem capable of dealing with NBA basketball. That crap he pulled against Kobe was inexcusable.

I think it was totally the right thing to do...stand up to the pompous ******* Kobe.

It reminded me of Barkley taking down Shaq, or Boki blocking Malone.....

Got to love it when players stand up to the man....

Kobe gets far too much preferential treatment...I love what Bell did.

Is Raja taunting off the Suns bench?

Well, he and his team earned it, I guess. That's what sucks about being on the losing end.

Why is Nash still playing? They're blowing the Lakers by 30, it's not like they would come close to losing if they substituted an entire high school team in for their starting 5.

any last minute Laker/Kobe fans wanna make a bet?

Nash has proved why he is MVP, and Phoenix has schooled the Rockets on why we need a supporting cast. Well, the Lakers do as well.

and you're not about to let the facts stand in your way when you say that are you?

like i said when he won his 2nd, just rename it the nash award then if you and the voters are going to keep thinking like this. run and gun with lots of assists so y'all can keep touting the "makes his teammates" better stuff, wins b/c most teams don't have the speed and shooting to keep up, and another undeserved mvp for the guy who was already the worst mvp in league history. screw things like PER, PER differential, and plus/minus, those mean nothing. perception is what counts.

Oh and so much for the PJ mystique...welcome to the normal world PJ (heh..no Michael, no Shaq = no 2nd round :D ).

I don't know that this series proved that much, except that each team has glaring weaknesses and neither is a threat to wi n the title.

Nash, MVP? I guess. Shouldn't an MVP play at both ends and be a threat to win the title? I think Detroit or San Antonio would tear the Suns a new one in a seven game series.

Well, a couple myths get busted when this series is all said and done.

    - Phil Jackson never loses a 7-game series after leading 2-1;

    - Defense wins playoffs.

I am guessing you would've hated watching Magic Johnson growing up, I mean that scrub only averaged like, what, 19ppg for his career?

Clearly he sucked worse than Mitch Richmond and bunch of other high-scoring players.

Your logic stinks, Steve Nash IS the MVP of the regular season and his performance in these playoffs (and more importantly his formerly-scrubby-before-they-played-with-him teammates' performance) only further 'put the icing on the cake' - so to speak - as to why he's the MVP.

Get over it, he deserves it despite your man-love of Kobe Bryant. It's not a knock or a 'diss' of Kobe to not win the MVP, I would've been actually OK if Kobe won it this season, but Nash was a little better in the regular season.

Oh, and btw, according at least to Dan Patrick show the other day, Nash appears to have won it "in a landslide", and Kobe apparently wasn't even the 2nd on that list, so clearly a lot more people saw that Nash was the MVP of the regular season, I know it doesn't mean much, but clearly you're in the minority here.

Kobe can look on the brightside, he can watch his best friend Shaq do his thing in the 2nd round, with them being best friends again and all.

LOL! Well, believe it or not, if he had played with the Kings the entire season like he did with them in his short tenure, he would've been an MVP candidate, although he most likely would not have won it.
