2 straight clean blocks by the lakers called fouls. kobe was tracking that block the whole way and got it easily and the body contact was minimal at best and certainly wasn't why the shot got thrown. i don't know how harlan thought turiaf had a hard foul considering he didn't even touch grant. edit: what a bad ending. 4302 turnovers in the half for the lakers. another offensive foul called on the lakers (curiously barbosa running straight into kwame was a blocking foul). and then they give up a layup like nothing. maybe they wanna see a game 7.
Maybe the league wants to send a message to Kobe: you are not the golden boy any more, and you won't get the privilege from the refs as Bron.
no ****. kobe abusing people or turning it over 400 times trying to force ridiculous passes over and over again. the suns suck at D, how worthless do you have to be to turn it over something like 18 times in 29 minutes. kobe shooting does not end up as a turnover. kobe passes, turnover, brilliant. and if parker played for the suns, would the lakers have already swept this series? edit: walton letting barbosa go left after they just told them not to. very smart. and of course you wanna commit a soft foul so it can be a 3 point play. hey the lakers get to go to the free throw line. amazing.
smush parker may as well suit up in the purple and orange. the offensive foul discrepancy in this game has been ridiculous.
put me out there. i can give up a layup to steve nash every play as well as parker and i would actually hit some shots.
WHAT IN THE **** IS SMUSH DOING. How about that freaking 3 by Kobe just now? Unreal shot. Then Parker went one on one with someone and got his shot blocked, get the ball out of that guys hands! How are the lakers even in this series with no point guard?
good job giving up a 3 up 3. what did i say after brent barry did it to the kings. everyone gives up a 3 when up 3. they just have to.
I know you guys are all going gaga over Kobe and what not... but this is really crappy Basketball. There's no more teams like the 80's Celtics or Lakers... or Jordan's Bulls... or Olajuwon's Rockets. Those teams played calm, composed, structured, and executed. These games have been helter-skelter, terrible mistakes everywhere, completely idiotic possesions (Smush Parker going one-on-one?), giving up 3 pointers when you're up 3... just bad basketball. BTW... its a problem throughout the NBA playoffs... not just this game or series.
Come on, this is one of the greatest games I've ever seen. Tim Thomas and Bonzi Wells have REALLY raised their stock this playoffs.
