the mavs blew a 3-1 lead to the spurs last year and won game 7 in san antonio as well.

 

Well, the bet will only be about whether they are taking over from the first minute or the second minute.

 

Forgot about that one... probably since the NBA playoffs don't seem that interesting if the Rockets aren't in it.

 

what the hell was that? stackhouse gets fouled, then carries it about 3 steps and the refs don't call anything while everyone stands around waiting for a whistle. and dirk, even when he's playing aggressive, misses layups and an open jumper.

 

Matt Barnes came to play... big/hot starts by the Dallas hypies don't faze him.

Anybody else think Dallas is trying to hurt somebody out there? Like they don't care how hard they foul anymore, because they might take a Warrior out in the process?

 

i'd be very surprised and impressed if the warriors keep this game close. But this is a lose for sure. Could be the turning point for how Dallas plays for the rest of the playoffs...

 

What rest of the playoffs? I dare to say that it would be a close game in the middle of the second quarter, and Warriors won on the end.

 

if Dirk doesn't get hot before halftime, it's over. Notice how everyone else gets their buckets (Howard, Terry, George, Harris, etc) and Dirk stand idly. If he doesn't get the ball, he's not gonna be having a good game. No good game by Dirk = loss.

 

Or it could simply be a team with enough pride not to look completely helpless on their home court. How much did the Rockets beat Dallas by in game 6 (before losing the 40 pointer in game 7)?

 

this is why the warriors are so tough right now. they NEVER screw up an opportunity. they get a run out off the steal on dampier and get a 3 that could help momentum and of course drain it. the mavs meanwhile have missed quite a few open jumpers.

 

Are the fans already out of the game?

Dallas seemingly scored half of that in the first 4 minutes.

And 28 for Golden St... I want a good game.

 

They're not going to sustain that kind of shooting for long.

 

warriors have the chance of a lifetime to kill the mavs and i hope they realize that. just keep attacking and mavs will wither away.

They've already lost it... hell, they got most of those points on layups. GS is now just giving them open 3's, and Dallas isn't hitting them.
